Zhou Yunan, the author of Song of Trees, was born in Lintong, Shaanxi, 1940 in July. Graduated from Chinese Department of Shaanxi Normal University. Professor, Northwest A&F University. He has been engaged in the teaching and research of garden history and forestry history for a long time, and founded the Forestry History Research Office of Xilin College. He has published papers such as On Forest Agriculture-Also on the Origin of Agriculture, A Brief History of Ancient Tree Planting in Shaanxi, Historical Changes and Resistance of Qinling Forest, etc.
