Taoist Culture Research is an academic journal of Taoism and Taoist culture research sponsored by the Hong Kong Taoist Association and edited by the famous scholar Chen Guying. Founded in 1992, it publishes one or two series of traditional Chinese characters every year. First published by Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House, then revised by Beijing. Reading? New Knowledge is published by Sanlian Bookstore. The origin of publication is to correct the long-standing tendency of academic circles to simplify China culture into Confucian culture and try to restore the original appearance of Taoism as the main body of China philosophy. At the same time, attention should be paid to absorbing the research results of Taoism abroad, so as to promote the discussion of Taoist culture in China and promote the multi-angle and multi-level research of Taoism and Taoist culture. This book usually revolves around a topic, such as the third series "Mawangdui Silk Book Special Issue", the thirteenth series "Dunhuang Taoist Literature Special Issue" and the twenty-first series "Taoism and Modern Life Special Issue", focusing on Taoist historical documents and how to adapt to modern society and realize their own transformation.
