Brief introduction of Dongguan Museum

Dongguan Museum is a comprehensive national second-class museum of local history, which belongs to Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Television Press and Publication. The original site is located in Dongguan People's Park, and now it is located in Keshubo Square, Xinfen Road, Guancheng. Dongguan Museum, formerly known as Dongguan Museum, was founded in 1929 and completed in 193 1. Part of the museum was purchased by Mingluntang, and the name of the museum was inscribed by Liu Jiwen, then the mayor of Guangzhou. It was one of several museum libraries with a large collection of books in Guangdong Province at that time. The new museum is five stories high, covering an area of 2,700 square meters, with a building area of 5,800 square meters and an exhibition area of 3,300 square meters.
