So, I know one thing: everyone's spiritual consciousness is different. The height of a person's spiritual consciousness determines what kind of books he can read.
Of course, this spiritual consciousness is not fixed, and it can be improved through self-cultivation.
2. Tao Te Ching talks about self-cultivation, inaction, no desire and quietness. How can it be combined with modern society?
I have written eighty-one articles and interpreted the Tao Te Ching, which is now the fifty-seventh chapter.
Someone asked, "Tao Te Ching" stresses self-cultivation, inaction, no desire and quietness. How can we combine with modern society? People in modern society are trying to make money, and they all have to face the pressure of survival, such as mortgage, car loan, children's education, pension, social hidden rules and so on.
I answer three main points:
(1) There are really bad people and things in this society. You have the right to choose who you are. Good as water. Lotus flowers do not stick to mud. If your heart is strong enough, it will not be eroded by the negative energy of society, environment and others.
(2) The Tao Te Ching talks about the law of heaven and earth. If you can understand Tao and Fa, you can change your present situation. Your present situation and experience are accumulated by your words and deeds.
(3) Doing nothing in Tao Te Ching does not mean doing nothing. But to know the world without your own personal opinions and subjective thoughts. This world has natural laws. Comply with the law, do what should be done, and act when it is time to act. If it's time to let go, let go and let it be. This is inaction. True inaction means doing everything you can.
I have read the Tao Te Ching, the Book of Changes and Zhuangzi, and my mind has been subtly purified and improved, and I have realized the law. On the contrary, I can do things more smoothly and easily. This is my experience.
3. Do things seriously and practically, use less tricks, conform to nature, and do things naturally.
Lao Tzu said that to govern the country, we should take the right path, but to fight with soldiers, we should make good use of magic weapons. Use less tricks, conform to nature, and take the world for nothing.
Inaction, quietness, inaction and no desire are the realm of saints.
In real life, in the workplace, in interpersonal relationships, intrigue and intrigue are all clever tricks. How can nothing happen?
The easiest way is to focus on your own goals and stay out of other people's business. If you talk too much, you lose, especially gossip. Don't care too much about what others say, it is the key to raise your essence, qi and spirit.
Simple truth, everyone knows. There are too few people who really do it, so although I left the Tao Te Ching, I also lamented that people have been lost for a long time.
