With the accelerated pace of life, people hope to simplify their writing and write quickly. This kind of psychology is not unique to modern people. The ancients also thought of this problem, so they invented the cursive script with sparse strokes and rapid writing. The cursive script is not a calligrapher's patent, but also widely used by ordinary people, so that the so-called "calligraphy style" of Chinese characters has been formed. For example, "learning" was written as a simplified word when the ancients wrote. Characters with complex strokes are printed as a whole, written as a whole, and parallel to each other. At this point, Chinese characters in China are very similar to those in the West. In a sense, it can be considered that simplified characters are the fusion of two individuals, that is, writing is completely equivalent to printing. Even China experts who have studied in China learn simplified Chinese characters. At that time, how will the world recognize China's culture?

The above shortcomings of simplified Chinese characters are secondary. The great loss is that the simplified characters make us lose the most precious national essence. Mutation is only suitable for extremely special occasions, and most occasions-especially artistic occasions (high artistic content of Chinese characters)-are not suitable for mutation, but only for fine-tuning. The so-called change is generally divided into three situations: the first situation refers to the system, value norm or habit that has long been a drawback, and it is changed to make it more reasonable and effective; The second situation refers to the restoration of the banned or replaced system, value norms or habits (some new effects may be obtained); The third situation refers to an unknown teacher's blind change of system, value norms or habits. The first situation is a veritable change; The second situation contains some changes, but it is not a real change; The third situation has nothing to do with change, but a "change".
