Take word20 16 as an example. If the page number on page 1-5 is required to be Roman numerals, the page number at the beginning of page 6 is Arabic numerals, and the starting page is 1.
1. Position the cursor at the end of page 5, and then click "Layout-Delimiter-(section break) Next Page" in the menu bar.
2. Double-click the footer on page 5 to enter the editing status of the header and footer, and click Insert-Page Number-Page Bottom-General Number 2 in the menu bar. At this time, the default page number is Arabic numerals.
3. Click Design-Page Number-Page Number Format in the menu bar to enter the page number format setting interface.
4. The number format is set to I? Two .................... Set the starting page number to "i", and then click OK. At this point, all page numbers are set to Roman numeral format.
5. Double-click the footer on page 6 to enter the editing status of header and footer, and click Design-Page Number-Format Page Number in the menu bar to enter the page number format setting interface.
6. The numbering format is set to 1? 2? 3 ..., remove the black dot before "Continued", set the starting page number to "1", and click OK. This sets the page number format.
