Then I learned that there were many famous wine capitals in ancient China, such as Zhuyeqing, Lotus, Tu Su, Hantanxiang, Taixibai, Qiulu, Jinganlu, Monkey Brewing and so on. But what I want to say here is not among them. What I want to say is daughter red. We will find that when we go to a small restaurant to eat, we often see wine such as daughter red in the jar, but are these really daughter red?
Then let's talk about what is live daughter red! Shaoxing's most famous wine is' Huadiao Wine', and he also has a nickname' Daughter Red'. There is an interesting story behind this name. Legend has it that a long time ago, there was a rich man in Shaoxing. He likes children very much, but his wife has never been pregnant. Later, this man found a folk prescription. After using it, his wife was really pregnant, and he was very happy to brew dozens of jars of yellow rice wine. Because his wife gave birth to a girl, he didn't finish a lot of wine brewed after the full moon, and he buried some left under the laurel tree until his daughter got married. The guests praised them one after another, and one of them praised them: a daughter is red on the ground, and a fairy is a boudoir. Since then, Shaoxing has had the custom that "a girl must brew her daughter's red, and a married woman must drink her daughter's red". Later, if a boy is born, he will also make wine and then bury it, hoping that his son will win the first prize to celebrate drinking, so it is also called "Zhuangyuanhong".
Then we know the origin of daughter red, and I just want to ask where the daughter red in those small restaurants comes from. There are many good wines in ancient China, which we mentioned earlier. Welcome friends to add them!
