A textual research on the origin of Qizi mountain names
"Rotten Keman" is located in Shishi Mountain, Xin 'an County. During the Jin Dynasty, Wang Zhi cut down trees. When he saw the boy playing chess, he sang because he listened. Boys long for one thing and one quality, such as jujube stones. After a while, the boy said, "Why not?" In terms of quality, the axe is rotten. When you come back, nobody will come back. (Biography of the Southern Dynasties) In Shishi Mountain, Xin 'an County, Jin Dynasty, a king came to this mountain while chopping wood. Wang saw some boys playing chess and singing, so he went to listen. The boy gave the king something in the shape of a jujube pit. He didn't feel hungry after swallowing it. After a while, the boy said to him, why don't you go? The king stood up. When he looked at his axe, the wooden handle was completely rotten. When he returns to this world, his contemporaries will cease to exist. Legend has it that in the Western Jin Dynasty, a young farmer named Wang Zhi once went up the mountain to collect firewood and came to Wang Qiaoxian's mouth. The king was bold and curious, thinking, people say there are immortals in the cave, so why don't I go in and have a look? Because the hole is very small, only one person can pass through. The hole is more than three feet deep and varies in width and height. The king has just entered the cave and can't see anything. In an instant, the ceiling seemed to light up, and I saw two blond old men playing Go. Wang is good at playing chess and was immediately attracted by the exquisite chess skills of the two old people. The two old men didn't seem to find anyone entering the cave. They eat dates while playing chess, and sometimes they hand them to the king. After watching a game of chess, the old man said to Wang Zhi, "You should go home, too." The king bent down to pick up the axe, but the axe (handle) was rotten, leaving only the iron axe. When Wang returned to the village, he didn't know anyone. Only when he asked his parents did he know that they had been dead for more than a hundred years. Since then, later generations have called this mountain a "crappy mountain". The king stayed in the mountains for a while, and the world changed greatly. This story is often used to describe the great changes in the world. Liu Yuxi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, quoted this allusion in the sentence "Going to the countryside is like a rotten ke" in "Rewarding Lotte and Seeing Every Meal in Yangzhou". The poet compared himself with the king and expressed his feeling of isolation after being exiled to Beijing for more than 20 years. Looking through the voluminous ancient books, we can see that Zhi Lin written by Yu Jin Xi (281-356) is the earliest record of this legend: "There is a stone room in Xin 'an Mountain, and you entered it. I saw two boys playing chess. Watch and watch, the game is not over yet, and there is no need to watch his salary that has been reduced rot back to his hometown. The Southern Dynasty (460-508) wrote: "Shishi Mountain in Xin 'an County of Jin Dynasty was cut down by the King of Qi. I saw some boys playing chess and singing. Because of listening to the quality, the boy took something and quality, such as jujube stones, and the quality was not hungry. After a while, the boy said, "Why not?" In terms of quality, the axe is rotten. When you come back, nobody will come back. As can be seen from the above two records, there are two main points in the beautiful legend of "rotten ke": first, it is located in Xin' an and is famous for its stone chambers in the mountains; Second, the protagonist is Wang Zhi, whose main content is playing chess. According to the above two points, let's analyze and judge that Kelan Mountain and other places in China have similar legends. There are mainly Quzhou, Zhejiang, Xin 'an, Luoyang, Henan, Michelle Mountain, Gaoyao, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, Qizi Mountain, Lingchuan, Shanxi, etc. First of all, from the location analysis, Quzhou, Zhejiang Province was renamed Xin 'an in the first year of Taikang in the Western Jin Dynasty (280), changed to Xi 'an and Zhaoqing in Guangdong after the Jin and Southern Dynasties and Sui Dynasties (860-873), and changed to Duanzhou and Emperor Yangdi in the early Sui Dynasty (58 1). Quzhou, Zhejiang has been called Xin 'an for more than 600 years, while Zhaoqing, Guangdong has only 10 years. Quzhou, Zhejiang was called Xin 'an in Jin Dynasty, but Guangdong Gaoyao was not established in Jin Dynasty. Gaoyao Michelle in Zhaoqing, Guangdong, also known as Fuke Mountain, is a famous Shishi Mountain in Michelle, Quzhou, Zhejiang. Xin 'an County, Henan Province was originally named Dongyuan, and the Northern Zhou Dynasty was renamed Xin 'an. Its name has not changed since the relocation of the Tang Dynasty. Unlike Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, Xin 'an County was established in the third year of the Eastern Han Dynasty (192) and renamed Xin 'an in the first year of Taikang (280). Lingchuan, Shanxi, was founded in the Sui Dynasty and never changed its name. Looking through the Dictionary of Ancient and Modern Place Names in China, we can see that besides Quzhou and Gaoyao, there are Macheng in Hubei, Pengcheng in Sichuan, Changshan in Zhejiang, east of Kaiping County in Guangdong and eight counties in Beijing, but there is no legend of rotten mountains and rotten ke. From the main content analysis, the protagonist of the story of Michelle in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province is the fairy Wang Zhi, commonly known as the Prince, who lives with her mother and brother Wang Gui and collects firewood for a living. The story in the middle is the same as that recorded in the history books. Finally, Wang Zhi was puzzled by chess. While waiting for advice, the boy (teenager) has disappeared. Wang Zhi missed his mother and brother at home, turned and grabbed the axe, and found that the handle of the axe was rotten. After returning to China, the personnel have changed and the home no longer exists. Upon inquiry, people say that Wang Zhi went up the mountain to chop wood, but this is gone forever. It's been over a hundred years now. After the king returned to the rotten mountain, he died as a fairy. The hero of Kelanshan Mountain in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province is also a king, and the immortals are two immortals in the north and south (one is red pine nuts). The king eats flat peaches, and the rest are similar. The hero of Lankeshan in Xin 'an, Luoyang, Henan Province is Wang Qiao. Some people mistakenly think that Wang Qiao is the fault of Wang Xing's woodcutter, but it is not. Wang Qiao is a deity worshipped by Taoism. Du Guangting's "The Fairy Biography of Wang" said: "There are three people, one is the Prince of Jin, the other is the magistrate of Ye County, and the other is the meat-eating cheese. They are all immortals of the same name. " What is more telling is that there is a poem tablet in front of Wangqiaoxian Cave, which is called Poems on the Iron Axe in Michelle, Henan Province, indicating that Michelle should be located in the south of the Yangtze River, not in the land of Zhongzhou. Chess Mountain in Lingchuan, Shaanxi Province is recognized by some scholars as the birthplace of Weiqi, also known as Jizi Mountain and Mouqi Mountain. The name of the mountain is different. Although the legend of Fu Ke is similar, the protagonist is Li Qian and the immortal is two old men. The story took place in front of Jizi Mountain Cave. From the analysis of legends and legends in the above places, Gaoyao in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province and Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province is the closest to the record of Harmony. It should be noted, however, that Yu He did not give a detailed description of the landform of Shishi Mountain (Michelle), and the only one that has this description recently is the poem of Meng Jiao quoted above, which once wrote: "Only Yu Shiqiao is here, and Ling Danhong comes alone". This poem is called "Stone Bridge on Rank Mountain", which shows that Liang Shi (Bridge) crossing the sky is an important landform and landform of Rank Mountain. Michelle in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province is also known as Shiqiao Mountain, Shishi Mountain and Hangshiban. Its main peak is like a huge stone bridge. The main tunnel under the stone bridge is10m high, 30m wide from east to west and 20m deep from north to south. Michelle in Zhaoqing, Guangdong has only Lankeping and Michelle Temple (old), but there are no landforms such as Liang Shi and Shiqiao. According to the Annals of Sui Shu and Biography of Dong Tian, "Wang Zhi is also a native of Dongyang (Sui, Xin 'an belongs to Dongyang)." Zhang Song Fang Jun's "Cloud Seven Signs" said that "Kelan Mountain is located in the hidden place of Xin 'an King in Quzhou, which is the 30th cave in the world". Since then, many ancient books have recorded that Lanke Mountain is located in Quzhou. More convincingly, the author of Zhi Lin is from Yuyao, Zhejiang. Yi Shu Ji was written by Ren Fang, the prefect of Xin 'an (now Chun 'anxi, Zhejiang Province), Meng Jiao, and a native of Wu Kang, Huzhou (now Deqing, Zhejiang Province). They all live in Zhejiang, so the account of Lanke Mountain in Quzhou should be credible. To sum up, the author thinks that the most convincing place of the legend of "Wang Zhi Michelle" is Michelle in Quzhou, Zhejiang. Mr. Chen Zude called it "Go Wonderland" and deserved it.
