What is the content of the Book of Changes (all four volumes) (Xiu Xiang Edition)?

brief Introduction of the content

Zhouyi is one of the important Confucian classics in the pre-Qin period, and it is a knowledge about human thought and the essential laws of the universe. It is the oldest, most authoritative and most famous classic in China, and it is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nation. Known as "the head of the group classics, the source of a hundred schools of thought." Western civilization has the Bible, while eastern civilization has the Book of Changes. Zhouyi culture is the root and source of China's cultural development, which has a great and far-reaching influence on the politics, economy and culture of China's descendants. China's architecture, medicine, music, painting and daily life are inextricably linked with Zhouyi.

As for the author and the writing time of Zhouyi, it is said that Fuxi began to paint innate gossip. "King Wen was arrested and played Zhouyi (the words of Sima Qian, a historical record), so the ancients agreed that Zhouyi was written by Zhou Wenwang when he was imprisoned by Wang Shang. Today, however, people have different views. They believe that the Book of Changes was not written by one person, but was gradually compiled and processed by a group of magicians, historians and fortune tellers in the Shang and Zhou Dynasties with reference to the divination materials and social life experiences handed down from ancient times. The silk book Zhouyi unearthed in Mawangdui No.3 Han Tomb in Changsha is different from the existing Zhouyi, which is an example. But the Book of Changes was written in the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, which is indisputable.

The Book of Changes includes two parts: the Book of Changes and the Book of Changes.

The Book of Changes consists of sixty-four hexagrams, and each hexagram contains four parts: hexagram painting, hexagram name, hexagram word and figure of speech. It is not only about divination, but also about ancient historical events, war situation, production experience, business trade, marriage customs, religious sacrifices, folk songs and so on. Therefore, it has rich historical and cultural connotations, including ancient divination, religion, myth, art, literature, science, philosophy, history and other information. The most valuable thing is that it expresses a unique and simple dialectical thinking method-the complementary method of yin and yang through a special image symbol system and a literary interpretation system.

The Book of Changes mainly expounds the philosophical thoughts and thinking methods contained in the Book of Changes, thus revealing the internal basis and relationship of the sixty-four hexagrams, including the up-and-down turn, the image turn, the cohesion, the classical Chinese turn, the interpretation of hexagrams, the imaginary hexagrams turn and the miscellaneous hexagrams turn. The Book of Changes replaced the two symbols of "Yi" and "Yi" in the Book of Changes with a pair of categories of "Yin" and "Yang", which transformed the concreteness of experience into the abstraction of philosophy and more clearly expounded the connotation and essence of the complementary method of Yin and Yang.

After thousands of years of vicissitudes, Zhouyi has become the root of China culture. People pay more and more attention to the mystery of Zhouyi. Our attitude in studying Zhouyi should be "inheritance" and "innovation". To inherit the rich cultural heritage of Zhouyi, we must integrate new things and give it new things that we didn't have before.
