Three days before September 13th, the Tang Priest set out from Hongfu Temple in Chang 'an. Walk for a day or two and stay at Famen Temple for one night. After a few days' travel, I went to Duke Zhou and had a rest for one night. Three days later, I arrived in Hezhou Wei. This is the boundary of the Tang Dynasty, so stay at Fuyuan Temple at night. When I went out of the city to Shuangqialing, I met Tiger Essence, Bear Essence and Bison Essence and was rescued by Taibai Venus.
Tang Priest traveled more than 5,000 miles from Chang 'an, crossed two boundary mountains, and traveled to the West to visit the country. After two months, I walked five or six thousand miles before I arrived in Kannonji and settled down.
Wukong and Tang Priest left Kannonji, and after five or seven days of confusion, they entered the territory of Wuzang and arrived at the home of Pig Bajie-Gaolaozhuang. Tang Priest, Wukong and Bajie left Gaolaozhuang and went west for a month. They left Uszang and came to Futu Mountain. They met the Wu Chao Zen Master who taught the Tang Priest's Heart Sutra. Since then, the Tang Priest has had an amulet.
