There are some differences,
1. For example, children of ethnic minorities can get extra points when taking college entrance exams, and have priority in entering universities for ethnic minorities.
2. Mongolian citizens, a couple can have two children. Mongolian citizens without urban household registration can have a third child with approval. Citizens of the Daur, Ewenki, and Oroqen ethnic groups advocate eugenics and appropriately reduce the number of children; those who require birth control will be provided with technical services. Citizens of other ethnic minorities except the Mongolian, Daur, Ewenki, and Oroqen ethnic groups can only have two children per couple, and are not allowed to have a third child.
3. National policies are sometimes slightly tilted and provide additional tax subsidies and the like for ethnic minority counties.
