When I was a child, my mother often bought colored chalk, because the floor at home was still cement, so I could draw on the floor. My mother taught me to write Arabic numerals or pinyin since I was a child. Now kindergarten teaches children to enter the park much earlier, and also teaches them to write and draw, and carry out early education.
Because the first grade is in the county, there is no practice for children to write. When we went to the city in the second grade, we had afternoon reading time every day. Although it is only fifteen minutes, we can also practice a copybook. Although all of them are determined by the school, it is mainly required that students write neatly, remember the order of strokes at the same time, know many words and recite ancient poems and texts, which is of great help to learning. Moreover, the homework in winter vacation also requires us to practice a copybook every day, but at that time, in order to cope with the homework, we wrote once every few days and wrote many articles at a time, so that we could play, but this concept is not good, which leads to my current calligraphy and I feel bad about myself.
When I went to college, I chose to write calligraphy because I wanted to choose my favorite direction in my freshman Chinese class. Although there are only six short classes, my grades are very high and I feel very powerful. I signed up for the college calligraphy competition and won the third prize. After the elective course, I also chose calligraphy seal cutting and reported it to the Calligraphy Seal Cutting Association. Through daily practice, I have gained a lot and made great progress, whether it is hard pen or writing brush.
Therefore, I believe that good calligraphy is obtained through long-term efforts. Just like English, we only have a few classes a week, and there are even fewer universities. If you don't recite words for a long time, don't listen to listening, don't practice oral English and don't do some reading, you will naturally forget if you don't read English for a few days. If you don't persist for a long time, you will be tired of learning, leading to failure in English or CET-4.
I think it will take a long time to practice calligraphy, but I also need to find my favorite font to practice. Don't practice blindly, because each font has its own characteristics and it will be very difficult to learn. If you don't pick what you like, don't learn. Follow your interests!
