Tokyo National Museum
Tokyo National Museum, built in 1872, is one of the oldest museums in Japan located in Ueno Park, Tokyo. A * * * is divided into five venues: Museum, Table Celebration Pavilion, Oriental Pavilion, Pingcheng Pavilion and Horyuji Treasure Pavilion. Shitamachi Museum
This is an information exhibition hall next to Shinozu Pool in Ueno Park, which mainly shows the lifestyle of ordinary citizens in Tokyo in Meiji and Taisho times. The first floor is the restoration of Xiamachi Street in Dazheng period, and the second floor is some special exhibitions.
Ueno Park in Tokyo is considered as a treasure house of historical sites and cultural property. There are Kuanyong Temple, Toshogu and Qingshui Hall in the scenic area. The scenic spot is very big, with all kinds of plants, zoos, art galleries, museums and so on. Every year, when cherry blossoms are in full bloom, many tourists come here to watch them in the best viewing period. Mr. Lu Xun once said that "Ueno's cherry blossoms are nothing more than this", which makes Ueno Park one of the earliest Tokyo place names in the memory of many China tourists. Ueno Park is the most traditional cherry blossom viewing place in Tokyo. There are more than 3,000 cherry trees in the park, which is also the largest cherry forest in Tokyo. Every spring, many local Japanese tourists go to Ueno Park for a picnic and watch sakura rain, which can be said to be an indispensable spring activity for local people.
Ueno Park is near Ueno Station, so many tourists usually choose to go to Sensoji Temple first and then Ueno Park. Cherry blossoms bloom in early April every year. It is a cherry blossom viewing place with many Japanese people. I recommend you to watch it near Sakura Avenue.
There are several main cherry blossom trails in the park, which are the main areas for tourists to watch cherry blossoms. The most spectacular scenery is the path scenery of Xiaozinchi. It is also a major picnic area for tourists. It is the most Japanese spring experience to spread a picnic cloth under the cherry blossom forest and chat with three or five friends while watching cherry blossoms.
The most suitable season for Ueno Park is the end of March and the beginning of April. This time is the cherry blossom season, and there will be many tourists. If you go on weekdays, the scenery is average, you can go to the zoo inside. Ueno Park has many shops and there are many delicious foods here. There will be various specialty stores and gourmet shops from Shinohara Tsuchi to Yokomachi, and it will be very lively at night.
However, if you go to Tokyo to see cherry blossoms, in addition to Ueno Park, there are well-known places such as Pig Mouth Park, Thousand Birds Garden, Muhei River and Shinjuku Imperial Garden. If you just visit Ueno Park and the shopping street here, you can go later, but if you want to visit Ueno, it will take about a day or two. There are many local art museums to visit.
