How much influence does calligraphy have on learning?

I practiced and copied more than one font when I was a child. I should say my handwriting is not bad. However, with the popularization of computers, the standard of written communication in all walks of life is computer printing, and the universality of writing good words has not been found.

A top student may not be able to write well. His hobbies are not among them.

Computer artists, on the other hand, have a large number of mature fonts to choose from, all of which admire the font authors and lament the intention and difficulty, but most people have ready-made options when using them.

Art major is an exception. It would be great if you could write like Fan Ceng and others.

Calligraphy is always used in advertising and packaging industries, right?

So I think it still depends on your natural qualifications and growth environment. Generally speaking, most of a person's specialties and expertise have already appeared in his youth. There is definitely nothing wrong with practicing calligraphy as a China person, but I am afraid that improper weighing will take up other study time.
