The exhibition hall of leping city Museum covers an area of 80 square meters, displaying 2 10 pieces of ceramics, stone tools, bronzes, jade articles and other cultural relics unearthed and collected in this city from the Paleolithic period to the Republic of China. 1976 With the approval of the Exhibition Group of the Provincial Department of Culture, Leping County established a cultural relics showroom to be responsible for the protection, publicity and collection of cultural relics in the county. 1984, Leping County Museum was established with the approval of the county party committee and co-located with the county cultural center and library. 1June, 989, three museums were established respectively. The museum has an exhibition room and a warehouse, both on the third floor of the newly-built Wenbotou building, covering an area of more than 300 square meters. 1992, Sa County was changed into a city and renamed as its current name. Leping city Museum has 1060 cultural relics. These cultural relics include stones, pottery, porcelain, copper, iron, tin, jade, fossils, characters and inscriptions by central leaders. Among them, the blue-and-white in-glaze red jade pot in Yuan Dynasty, the milky white in-glaze red melon pot in Northern Song Dynasty and the written porcelain gray board written by Governor Tang Ying in Qing Dynasty are rare in China.
