What is the difference between what Mr Wen Yiduo said and did as a scholar and what he said and did as a revolutionary? How do you evaluate it?

I. Introduction to the article "Mr. Wen Yiduo's Speaking and Doing"

This article is selected from People's Daily February 1980. This was written by Cang Kejia, a "peasant poet". The original name is "Speaking and Writing-A Record of Mr. Wen Yiduo's Words and Actions", which was changed with the consent of the author when it was selected as a junior high school textbook. This article is not a biography, but tells the main deeds of Mr. Wen Yiduo, shows his noble character and highly praises his revolutionary spirit.

Second, the evaluation of Mr Wen Yiduo:

Mr. Wen Yiduo's main identity in his life is a scholar and a poet. Therefore, the first half of this paper describes how Mr. Wen Yiduo devoted himself to the academic field in order to explore the way out of saving the country and the people in the early stage. He did not fear hardships, forgot to eat and sleep for more than ten years, and finally achieved fruitful results in academics. It is emphasized that Mr Wen Yiduo is an "outstanding scholar".

Mr. Wen Yiduo devoted himself to academics in the early stage and to the democratic movement in the later stage, which reflected the changes in his understanding of society. But as an outstanding scholar, a great patriot and a man of lofty ideals who is consistent in words and deeds, he is consistent.

He did it, but he didn't say it himself. He changed from Tang poetry to Chu poetry. After ten years of hard work, suddenly a "school supplement" came out. Others are admiring and marveling, but Mr. Wen Yiduo himself didn't "say". He went to the "classical new meaning" again. He was so absorbed that he became the host of "Why not go downstairs". Say what you have done, not what you have done. This is just one aspect of Mr Wen Yiduo as a scholar.

As a fighter of democracy and a leader of the youth movement, Mr. Wen Yiduo "said". At first, I whispered that only young people in Kunming could hear me. Later, his voice grew louder and louder. He shouted to the people of the whole country to wake them up, oppose dictatorship and strive for democracy! ? This is a revolutionary aspect.

Wen Yiduo loves his motherland, and patriotism runs through his life like the same red line, eventually leading him to socialism and * * * productism. His life path is tortuous. He was once confused, made mistakes and frustrated, but after deep thinking and the care and help of the producers in China, he finally found the truth. Once he found out the truth, he never hesitated, persevered and fought bravely to realize the truth until he gave his precious life. Wen Yiduo is knowledgeable and versatile. Besides studying new poetry and ancient literature, he also has profound attainments in fine arts, drama, calligraphy and seal cutting.

In the development of Shandong University for more than 100 years, there is a legendary story that makes teachers and students relish, that is, Cang Kejia, an excellent student with zero marks in mathematics. 1930, Cang Kejia applied for the National Qingdao University, and was appreciated by Wen Yiduo, then dean of the Faculty of Arts, head of the Chinese Department of Qingdao University and examiners. He was admitted to National Qingdao University without exception. More importantly, Wen Yiduo carefully cultivated Cang Kejia, which is the key for Cang Kejia to become a famous poet. ?

First, Wen Yiduo discovered Cang Kejia from his miscellaneous feelings?

1930, Cang Kejia entered the national Qingdao university (1932 was changed to the national Shandong university). Because I joined the army and went to Wuhan to participate in the Great Revolution, I hardly studied mathematics in high school, so that I got zero points in mathematics in the college entrance examination. However, his three feelings are mixed: "Life is always chasing magic light, but whoever regards magic light as magic light will sink into the bottomless sea of suffering." He was appreciated by Wen Yiduo, then dean of the College of Literature of Qingdao University, director of the Chinese Department and examiner. Cang Kejia said: "Although these three sentences are brief, their contents are not simple. It is the philosophy that I have tasted the bitterness of life and distilled from it, and it is also the crystallization of a kind of helpless sadness and frustration that I am extremely painful and unwilling to be lonely after the failure of Wuhan Revolution. Mr. Wen appreciates these three complicated feelings and sees through my heart. " ?

Does the mixed feelings have the flavor of life, philosophy and literature?

These three seemingly dull feelings are indeed rich and profound and intriguing. I summed it up as "three flavors":

Breath of life. Cang Kejia lived in the countryside since he was a child, and he knew about the countryside and farmers, especially the failure of the Wuhan Revolution and its subsequent experience. It can be said that he has tasted the ups and downs of the world. These three mixed feelings are not the kind words he pondered in his study, but the reflection and thinking of his rich life feelings and thoughts. Have a deep foundation in life. ?

Philosophical flavor. These three complex emotions reflect Cang Kejia's profound and rational understanding of life. I understand it this way: life is always chasing magic light. The magic light here refers to the pursuit and expectation of life for the future, which includes both illusory things that can never be grasped and legitimate ideals and beliefs. If you encounter setbacks and fail, the pursuit of all this boils down to illusory light, that is, the disillusionment of ideals, which is bound to be pessimistic and disappointed, and you will fall into the abyss of pain and cannot extricate yourself.

Literary flavor. Cang Kejia was born in a scholarly family. He has read and recited classical poems since he was a child. He loves literature and art, and likes to write poems. Before he applied for Qingda University, he had published some poems in newspapers and had a certain literary accomplishment. These three sentences are not only excellent miscellaneous feelings, but also enduring prose or concise philosophical poems. ?

Life flavor, philosophy flavor and literature flavor are the soul that Mr. Wen discovered, savored and saw through from three mixed emotions. ?

Second, Cang Kejia trained by Wen Yiduo?

Mr. Wen Yiduo not only discovered Cang Kejia wisely, but more importantly, he carefully cultivated this apprentice. This is the key for Cang Kejia to become an excellent student. ?

Teach in person. Teacher Wen's classes are selected readings of famous works, literary history, Tang poetry and English poetry. These courses, full of academic flavor, poetry and original ideas, undoubtedly inspired Cang Kejia's wisdom and soul, improved his literary accomplishment, and made him love his literary career more and understand and love poetry more. ?

Excellent presentation. This refers to Mr. Wen's collection of poems "Dead Water" published by 1928, which is a masterpiece and classic of poetry. Wen Yiduo personally signed and sealed it and gave it to Cang Kejia. He was fascinated and admired as soon as he read it. He handed a big book he had practiced in the past to the fire, and decided to take the road of listening to dead water poems more. He likes the profundity and conciseness of Mr. Wen's "Peach Blossom Pond is dark at the end of the night".

The demonstration of the masterpiece Dead Water has a great and far-reaching influence on Cang Kejia. It is like a beacon of poetry, shining on the voyage of Cang Kejia's poetry. This played an important role in his becoming an excellent student and poet. ?

Careful guidance. This refers to individual tutoring after class. Cang Kejia often asks Mr Wen for advice about his new poems. Mr. Wen always makes concrete comments on each poem enthusiastically.

This kind of careful guidance is not a "teacher's dignity" but a mentor, which is an equal exchange between poets. "I am a mentor and friend of spiritual communication, and a good friend who has forgotten to make friends." As Mr. Wen said in his letter to: "As the ancients said, you should have a bosom friend in life and have no regrets. I am very satisfied to make friends like you at Qingda. " ?

Try to encourage. In order to encourage Cang Kejia to write more poems, Mr Wen Yiduo took the initiative to publish some of Cang Kejia's poems in New Moon. Cang Kejia said: "He published My Foreign Coachman and Insomnia, which was the beginning of my formal poetry." He also "often encouraged" and "strongly encouraged" Cang Kejia to write more poems, and published poems such as Refugees in New Moon. As you can imagine, as a student, Cang Kejia can be encouraged to publish his poems in influential journals all over the country! ?

Push it to the whole country. From 65438 to 0933, with the help of many teachers and friends, such as Wen Yiduo, Bian, etc., Cang Kejia's first book of poetry, Brand, was printed and published at his own expense. Mr. Wen Yiduo not only generously donated 20 yuan, but also personally prefaced, recommended and raised ardent expectations.

Thirdly, Cang Kejia is full of gratitude to his teacher Wen Yiduo?

How much effort Mr Wen Yiduo devoted from discovery to training Cang Kejia to be an excellent student! This is selfless, sincere and meticulous love for students, the glory of noble teachers' morality, and a model of loving students and tirelessly teaching and educating people. Cang Kejia is full of "deep admiration and gratitude" for discovering and cultivating his mentor Wen Yiduo. Until Wang Bai 100 years old, he still remembered Mr. Wen. He said that without Mr. Wen, there would be no him today. This is just as Mr. Wen's son Wen said in an article: "For decades, he wrote poems to remember, commemorate, publicize, introduce and promote his father. According to preliminary statistics, there are as many as 3 1 poem directly entitled "Wen Yiduo". This does not include memoirs, autobiographies, interviews, inscriptions and countless words involving Wen Yiduo. It's really' Qingdao is deeper than thousands of feet, so it's better to respect teachers'. "Respecting teachers and loving students, being a mentor, Wen Yiduo and Cang Kejia are exemplary in the history of education in China. ?

Cang Kejia became an excellent student, which is inseparable from Wen Yiduo's careful training. Finding talents is only the beginning, and what is more important is the cultivation after discovery. Therefore, it enlightens us that a high-level teacher team with both ability and political integrity should not only have good knowledge, expertise, strong teaching and scientific research ability, but also have good personality, which is not only the fundamental plan for school construction in the past, present and forever. ?

A good teacher makes a good apprentice. Only high-level teachers can find and cultivate high-level students. "Master leads the way, talent lies in the individual", which is from the perspective of students. From the point of view of school education, it is difficult to produce high-level students without the training of teachers, preaching and giving lessons to solve doubts, careful guidance and even enthusiastic support and recommendation. Teachers are the foundation of education. This is the important position and role of teachers in education.
