Representative works include Liu Gongquan's Tri-Character Classic of Regular Script, Yan Zhenqing's Regular Script Sage Augmentation, Zhao Mengfu's Regular Script Thousand Characters, Follow Me: Hard Pen Depicting Zhong Shaojing's Regular Script Copyright, Ou Yangxun's Regular Script Disciples, Follow Me: Hard Pen Depicting Tang Bohu's Running Script Copyright, and Hard Pen Depicting Yu Youren's Running Script Copyrights. Wei began to learn and practice calligraphy. He started with Ou Yangxun's "Ninety percent Official", and then studied Zhong Shaojing's "Ling Fei Classic" hard, running script and learning from Zhao Ti. His calligraphy is fluent and lively, and his structure is dignified and rigorous.
