Gao Jian, courtesy name Tianxing, was born in 1973. He studied under Mr. Duan Yupeng, a famous calligrapher and seal engraver. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Chinese Couplet Society, a member of the Chinese Calligraphy Education Committee, a member of the Shandong Province Calligraphers Association, the deputy secretary-general of Shandong Province Dongyue Seal Society, and a member of the presidium of Tai'an Youth Calligraphers Association.
