China was a painter in Yuan Dynasty and one of Yuan Sijia. Formerly known as Lu Jian, also known as Jing Jian, he was born in Changshu, Pingjiang (now Changshu, Jiangsu). He said that he was born in Pingyang, Zhejiang, because his Shan Jutu was named "Huang Pingyang Wang Gong, a big idiot Taoist". After Yongjia (now Zhejiang), he adopted Huang as his adopted son, so he changed his surname. His father is 90 years old, and he got it. There is a saying that Huang had a son a long time ago. Because of his reputation and long words, he is called Yifeng, a crazy Taoist, and also a Taoist famous for his villas and late wells. When he was a child, he was called a prodigy. He studied classics, calligraphy and temperament, and was good at poetry and Sanqu, especially landscape painting. After the age of 50, he began to paint landscapes and studied under Zhao Mengfu, Dong Yuan, Ju Ran, Hao Jing, Guan Tong and Li Cheng. In his later years, he changed his methods and started a family. His paintings pay attention to imitating nature, and he often carries a pen and paper to describe the natural scenery such as Yushan, Sancha, Jiu Feng and Fuchun River. In his later years, ink painting used the brush strokes of calligraphy and had two faces: ink painting and light crimson. There are not many strokes, vast, simple and far-reaching, and the style is vigorous and magnificent. There is a comment that "the mountains are thick and the vegetation is lush". Most of the colors are pale ochre, which is called "pale crimson" (this is a creation that really comes from the public's hope). There are many rocks climbing on the top of the mountain to win with heroism. Huang's paintings had great influence in the late Yuan Dynasty, Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern times. With Zhenwu, Ni Zan and Wang Meng, they are also called "Yuan Sijia" and "Huang is the crown". He is the author of Shan Jutu in Fuchun, Yushu in Ya Dan, Stone Wall in Tianchi, Snow in Jiu Feng, Plan of Shan Yu Creek, Trip to Daixi in Tunxi, Great Ridge in Fuchun, etc. He also wrote "Landscape Tactics", expounding painting theory, painting method, layout and artistic conception.
