Looking for my mother’s missing person notice
①Composition class. After the teacher finished teaching practical writing, he assigned a topic to the students on the spot: Suppose that their mother is lost, and ask everyone to write a missing person notice. The teacher also sent a sample missing person notice to each student. Everyone can copy it, but the content must be based on the true situation of their mother.
② The students seem to have not yet realized that their mother is missing. Write a missing person notice? Facing the sample missing person notice, the students didn’t know how to write for a while.
③ Seeing that the students were silent, the teacher said, "Let's do this. I will explain the key points of the missing person notice again, and everyone will listen and write at the same time." First, write down the name of the person who lost it.
④Everyone immersed themselves in writing their mother’s name on the paper.
⑤The teacher said, gender.
⑥Female. Everyone wrote it down.
⑦The age of the missing person. As soon as the teacher finished speaking, the class exploded. Some people say that my mother seems to be 42 years old. Some people say that my mother never told me how old she was. Some people say, I am 14 years old this year, and my mother must be in her late 30s, right? Among dozens of classmates, no one could accurately tell his mother's age.
⑧The teacher shook his head and left the age blank for now. The following is the most important part. Please write down the physical characteristics of the lost person.
…………
⑨ Everyone was talking a lot and seemed to know their mother very well. The teacher interrupted everyone. What the students were talking about may be your mother's characteristics, but now everyone is asked to write about your mother's physical characteristics, such as a mole on the face, a scar on the back of the hand, a slightly curved waist, etc. of.
⑩The students stopped talking, tilted their heads, and tried to recall the image of their mother. What are the physical characteristics of the mother you see every day? Are there any moles on your face? There seems to be one, but I can't remember where it is. Mom is often injured when she works, but where are the scars left? I really haven't noticed it. My mother's waist has indeed become a little bent in the past few years and she can't straighten it up. Maybe it's because she's too tired? However, it seems that everyone’s mother is like this. Is this considered a physical characteristic?
11 The students reluctantly wrote down a few characteristics, which were similar to their mothers, but also seemed not to be like them.
The teacher 12 asked the students to write down what clothes and shoes their mother was wearing today.
If the mother is really lost, then the clothes she wore when she last left home will be a very important basis for identification.
The class of 13 exploded again. The classmates wearing clean and beautiful clothes chatted among themselves: which classmate wore a new pair of sneakers in the morning, everyone noticed it immediately; everyone always knew exactly what style and brand of clothes his favorite movie star liked to wear. Chu... However, my mother, who went out with me in the morning and even rode her car to the school gate, really didn't pay attention to the color or style of clothes she was wearing. She never paid attention to it.
The 14th composition class was a complete failure. No student wrote a simple missing person notice completely and accurately. Finally, the teacher told everyone with a solemn face that it was not that it was difficult to write a missing person notice, but that everyone did not pay attention to their mother at all.
Fathers and mothers in 15 days watch their children carefully, so every small movement of the child cannot escape the eyes of the parents. Remembering mom and dad is actually not difficult at all, as long as you pay attention, it will be enough.
16 Everyone’s growth is not a matter of course, but we turn a blind eye to our parents who take good care of us: we only see the delicious meals, but not the back figures busy in the kitchen; we only rejoice in the We have obtained excellent results, but we have forgotten the eyes that accompany us to read late at night; we only look forward to our own growth, but ignore the back that is stooped due to hard work... When will we have a heart and use it to see clearly the parents? Face, remember the affection of your parents? Let us learn to care for others, starting with caring for our own parents.

Craftsman and Master
① It is common to hear someone being called a "master" in society, sometimes as a sign of respect, sometimes as a compliment. They are often dissatisfied with a certain work, saying it has "craftsmanship". What is the difference between a craftsman and a master?
②The craftsman is repeating, and the master is creating. A craftsman, such as a carpenter, always makes the same style of furniture over and over again. The only difference between him and her is his proficiency and technical precision. For example, an average carpenter can make one chair a day, while a good carpenter can make three or five chairs a day. In addition, the planed surface will be smoother, the joints will be tighter, and so on. But even if you can do 100 in a day, you are still a carpenter. A master never repeats himself. If he designs one kind of furniture, the next one will definitely be completely new. The judge of his level is whether he has breakthroughs and innovations. Craftsmen are always thinking about how to make the things in their hands more, faster, and more perfect; masters have long since ceased to care about this thing, and are constantly thinking of new things.
③The craftsman is at the practical level, and the master is at the theoretical level. The upper limit of a craftsman's ability to engage in specific operations is rich experience, but he has not yet risen from experience to theory. Although these experiences embody and verify the law, they are not the law itself. The master stands on the theoretical level and operates by laws. A is facing a melon field, and the craftsman is busy picking melons one by one. The master only lifts a melon vine. Faced with a large number of numbers, the craftsman is sweating profusely and counts one after another. The master only needs to gently give Come up with a formula. A craftsman always maintains his own skills and shows off his skills. Occasionally, he will achieve something, and stick to it. The master regards flowers and applause as passing smoke, and he keeps making progress, but his heart is still uneasy. Marie Curie gave her Nobel medal to her youngest daughter as a toy, but then she won another Nobel Prize.
④The craftsman is relatively single, but the master is good at synthesis. We often say that one skill, one fresh move, can be used all over the world. This refers to the craftsman, but the master does not rely on this. Because all innovation and creation only appear after a comprehensive synthesis of introduction, absorption, comparison, hybridization, reconstruction, etc. When a craftsman relies on a skill and enjoys the benefits, he can take advantage of others and outdo others; the master will use this skill to make just a grain of sand in the Ganges River, and then add bricks, tiles, soil, stones, and mud to create a new structure. A tall building.
Newton and Einstein became masters of physics not only because of physics, but also more importantly, mathematics, philosophy, etc. When a painter becomes a master of painting, the key role in his artistic life is no longer painting, but music, literature, science, politics, philosophy, etc. A master in social sciences has higher requirements. Marx and Engels were encyclopedias of their time, and Mao Zedong was a treasure book of Chinese politics, military, and literature at that time.
⑤This is the difference between a master and a craftsman. Studying this distinction has no intention of disparaging the craftsmen. Masters are glorious milestones, and craftsmen are valuable paving stones. The world is colorful and needs both masters and craftsmen, just as it needs generals and soldiers. But we must admit that the world needs people to have a higher pursuit of goals. Napoleon said that a soldier who did not want to be a general was not a good soldier. Generals always grow up among good soldiers. He becomes a general when he is no longer satisfied with the repetition of shooting and dropping bombs, but moves from singleness to synthesis, from experience to rationality, and reaches the level of battle and strategy. Yi Luban was originally an ordinary carpenter. When he became technically proficient and was no longer satisfied with the repetition of axes and saws, but entered into architectural design and construction principles, he became a master of architecture. Although there are always a few who become masters from craftsmen, this enterprising spirit is the driving force for human progress and social development. As the old saying goes, if the Dharma is above, you can find it among them; if the Dharma is among you, you can find it below. What if everyone is the same? This society is unimaginable.
⑥We may not be able to reach the level of masters in actual performance, but at least we must follow the masters' thinking methods, such as striving for innovation, not repeating, and not being complacent about small tricks. We must identify, have goals, and pursue things. Although I can't catch it, my heart yearns for it. If an individual has such a mentality, he will make progress; if a nation has such a quality, it will be full of vitality; if there is such an atmosphere in society, it will be an innovative society.

When climbing the tower, there are those who are nostalgic for their country, worried about slander and fear of ridicule, their eyes are full of desolation, and they feel extremely sad.
As if spring and the scenery are bright, the waves are calm, the sky above and below is a vast expanse of blue; sand gulls gather in the sky, and the golden scales swim; the shore is covered with orchids, lush and green. Or when the long smoke disappears, the bright moon shines thousands of miles away, the floating light leaps into the gold, the silent shadow sinks into the jade, and the fishermen answer each other's songs, how wonderful is this joy! When you climb the tower, you will feel relaxed and happy, forgetting your favors and disgrace together, drinking wine in the wind, and you will be overjoyed.
Sigh! Why should I try to seek the benevolent heart of the ancients or do something different from the two? Don't be happy with things, don't be sad with yourself. If you live high in a temple, you will worry about your people; if you live far away from the rivers and lakes, you will worry about your ruler. It means that you are worried when you advance, and you are also worried when you retreat. But when will you be happy? He must say, "Be worried about the world's worries first, and be happy after the world's happiness." Oh! Weisi people, who can I return to?
(Selected from "Yueyang Tower")
