Liu Xiaoqing is from Chongming. Lu Xun graduated from the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts, and worked as a physician in wujiaochang town Health Center of Baoshan District. He is currently a member of the Academic Committee of China Calligraphers Association, the executive director of Shanghai Calligraphers Association, an adjunct professor at Shanghai University College of Literature, the president of Shanghai Hudong Academy, and the deputy editor-in-chief of Calligraphy magazine of Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House.
