This pair of couplets is written with gold powder directly on the pillars on both sides of the main hall of Xiazu Temple. Not long ago, the village elderly association took the lead in organizing villagers to donate money to repair the Xiazu Temple built in Chen Bing, Jiaqing, Qing Dynasty, including this couplet. However, the old gentleman in the village is embarrassed: the upper part of the handwriting is clear, but many people don't know it, and the lower part of the handwriting is vague, and some of them are still discernible. Xu Hansheng said that "long hair is auspicious" is common in the inscriptions on ancestral temples, which means to praise. Xu Hansheng introduced that the seal script on the couplet is called "Nine Deaths of Seal", which is a very special seal script. It turned out to be a popular "national seal" font in the Song Dynasty, which was mainly used for seal cutting, and the strokes were folded and stacked evenly and symmetrically. The number of folds of each word depends on the complexity of strokes, including five folds, six folds, seven folds, eight folds, nine folds and ten folds. It is called "nine stacks" because "nine is the last number, and there are many words." For example, the word "Gong" is not much different from the word "Gong" on the left side of the normal seal script, but in the "ten-fold seal script", it is difficult to recognize it without a certain skill in seal script.
