"Spring is in the Hall" is a poem written by Yu Yue, a scholar in Qing Dynasty, during the imperial examination in Gong Kao, which contains the phrase "Spring is still there when the flowers fall". At that time, the Qing Dynasty was in an era of flourishing flowers and fallen leaves. His poems think that although the flowers fall, spring is still there, which is auspicious for the imperial court, so Yu Yue won the first prize. To commemorate this honor, he named the library "Spring in the Hall".
