Kneel down and beg! ! An essay titled: (Learning an Art)! ! Thank you

When I was in the first grade of elementary school, I started learning to write calligraphy. I remember one day, when I was writing with a pencil, my grandfather looked at it and said to me: Your writing is too ugly! Handwriting is like wearing clothes. If the handwriting is well written, people will feel comfortable looking at it. So, my grandfather took me to a calligraphy class to learn calligraphy.

At first, I was curious, and look! The teacher stroked his pen and wrote elegant words one by one. I picked up a pen and started learning calligraphy. However, after a period of time, I first felt that it was difficult to write well, and I became afraid of the difficulty, and even felt tired. Finally, I had the idea of ??giving up. At this time, grandpa said seriously: "No matter what you learn, you will encounter difficulties, and the same goes for writing. You must persevere to write well. Also, you must not give up halfway, otherwise your previous efforts will be in vain!" After listening to my grandfather’s words, I gritted my teeth and persevered! After persisting for more than two years, my calligraphy has improved. During the Spring Festival this year, in order to encourage me, my grandfather posted the couplets I wrote on my doorstep. The neighbors praised me for my good writing, which inspired me deeply. After that, my grandfather He personally tutored me to continue practicing calligraphy.

Now, I have a certain experience in learning calligraphy: writing should be done with "three hearts".

First, be careful. Chinese characters have dots, horizontal strokes, vertical strokes, strokes, strokes, horizontal hooks, and vertical hooks. They are all written in different ways, and the thickness of the strokes are also different. Therefore, when writing, you must concentrate and distinguish carefully.

Second, be patient. Because the brush is a soft pen, it is difficult to master, and Chinese characters have different writing methods such as left-right structure, up-down structure, cross-over, and box-indentation. Therefore, you must be patient when writing and don't scribble carelessly. You should first write regular script, then learn regular script and running script. Once the foundation is laid, you can finally learn cursive script.

Third, we must have perseverance. To learn calligraphy well, it cannot be learned in a few days or months. Therefore, learning calligraphy requires frequent practice and perseverance. You cannot fish for three days and dry the net for two days, let alone give up halfway.

Calligraphy is an art. Now, I have a certain interest in calligraphy. I am determined to continue learning and strive to become a small "calligrapher".
