Zuo Xiaoming's calligraphy

I always think persistence is a gift! And it is the best gift that God can give a person.

If God gave you many other talents but didn't insist on them at the same time, it would be a severe test at the same time!

Because of the habit, it is easy to improve the technology, but if a person is born with deficiency, it will be extremely difficult to get it the day after tomorrow.

But persistence, this priceless quality, is a talent that most people lack! Many talented people end up with nothing, not because they have no ability, but because they lack determination, so it is difficult to stick to one thing until the end. Just like a dragonfly, clouds and shadows have no foundation, and they float from here to there at any time, unable to control themselves.

An American President Coolidge once said, "Nothing in the world can replace tenacity and tenacity. Talent can't be-people who don't meet talent abound, and geniuses who have accomplished nothing can also be seen everywhere; Education is no good either-the world is full of people who learn for nothing and for nothing; Only by being tenacious can we be in an invincible position. " I'm impressed.

A few days ago, I interviewed Mr Zuo Xiaoming, a calligrapher. His experience of learning calligraphy is like the twists and turns of the strokes of official script, but what makes him successful in the end is his perseverance and persistence in calligraphy!

Mr. Zuo Xiaoming studied painting in his early years, and later he was ridiculed for his inscription, vowing to learn calligraphy and not wanting to be immersed in it for more than 20 years. When he was young, he lived in the countryside, his information was blocked and he was misled. Let's practice from this copybook. But he works hard and often practices for hours. During this period, he encountered many setbacks and hardships in life, but he never stopped practicing and learning calligraphy. This persistence is ten years.

Just when he felt that he had achieved something, he was going to meet a master and said that he had been practicing like this all his life, that is, writing! The thirty-year-old man almost collapsed. He has told me about it so far, and the pain of muscle tearing on his face is unbearable.

For ten years, groping in the dark, practicing hard in the severe winter and heat, forgetting to eat and sleep, there is only one wrong result! That night, he walked from dawn to darkness and from darkness to dawn in the street, ten years, ten years! He either abandons calligraphy from now on, or subverts himself, denies the past and dies. He said that experience was like strangling the child he raised!

After all, he gave up calligraphy for ten years and decided to stick to it. He bought back a lot of ancient inscriptions, slept only three to five hours a day, and spent the rest of his time practicing calligraphy. He started with official script, studied Cao Quanbei and Shimen Ode first, then changed regular script, and devoted himself to studying Zhao Mengfu, Wen Zhiming and Wang Chong. Zhao's ci is graceful and mellow, elegant and easy to change customs. Mr. Zhao gave up the charming spirit and picked up the warm and vivid spirit of the model law with a vigorous posture. Wang Chong was vigorous and skillful, and gradually became his own family.

After more than ten years, he finally entered the harvest period. Now he goes further and further on the road of calligraphy. He is a skilled calligrapher who tidies up beautifully and majestically.

But what impressed me most was not his achievements in calligraphy, but his persistence in calligraphy for more than 20 years. His success today is due to his diligence and love of calligraphy, but the most important thing is his perseverance. If he stops here after the first decade, I'm afraid he will lose all his strength! Fortunately, he silently persisted for more than ten years, making himself stand out from the crowd!

Some time ago, I saw a girl who likes painting on WeChat. She started from scratch and painted for ten years. Now she is a famous illustrator. I really admire these people, who are persistent and unfocused on the road like Kuafu every day! They insist on one thing for more than ten years at a time, and they are the real caregivers of God!

I know I lack this precious gift. In fact, I always know in my heart that I have a wide range of interests. If I don't choose, I will accomplish nothing. But it's like being possessed. I can't help myself. I like this one today and that one tomorrow. I just can't stay on the same thing for too long and spend too much time, so I can't do anything to the extreme so far. I like yoga, but I can persist for ten years intermittently, not because I insist on it voluntarily, but because when I stop for a period of time, my physical illness will find you and force me to persist.

After meeting many successful and unsuccessful people, I feel like that song: no one can succeed casually! Successful people are not necessarily superhuman, not necessarily the smartest people, but they must be the most persistent and hardworking people! Everyone has the focus and persistence of the exercise. One thing, they won't give up until they reach their goal! And losers, maybe just stick to a few steps!

I remember that a Nobel Prize winner put forward the famous "10,000-hour law", which means that as long as you persist in focusing on anything for 10,000 hours, you will definitely become an expert in this field.

But I used to have an asshole who thought that everything should be eight points, learn the same technology and do one thing. After a period of hard work, I felt that I was coming soon and changed my interest. ...

Until now, I am surprised that time is so hasty that I have no time to do what I want to do. I wasted so much time!

It is shocking to see one's own shortcomings in the success or failure of others, but one can't have this kind of beautiful quality right away, which is more difficult than learning any skills. It may take ten times and a hundred times of efforts to make up for the lack of talent with the efforts of the day after tomorrow. First of all, I want to control myself and do only one or two things every day, while the temptation of other fun things should be put aside and turned a blind eye. My heart itches and hurts, and I accompany it every day; Then learn to stick to one or two things for five years, eight years and ten years. ...

For those who are not endowed with this precious talent by God, it is extremely painful to concentrate on one thing for a long time, but life is not a 100-meter race, but a marathon, so we must learn to persist for a long time!
