So as to write good calligraphy?

Recently, I read Mr. Qi Gong's "Qi Gong teaches you to write calligraphy", and I have a little experience, which is roughly summarized as follows:

First, don't be afraid of difficulties. Don't think it is difficult to practice handwriting. Good calligraphy means that everyone knows my handwriting, so they say it looks good.

Second, go to the bookstore and choose your favorite copybook. It doesn't matter if it's not exactly the same, but the shelf structure should be the same as others, and then try to be the same, because we should try to be the same as others, but you have to understand that it can't be exactly the same, so there is no need to criticize yourself. If you don't like this font after writing for a while, change it to something you like better.

Third, you don't have to choose paper and pen, just use ordinary pen and ink or newspapers, but if you want to hold the pen in your own hand, it is very convenient to hold or write. In addition, the pen should not be all wool or weasel hair, and it should be a little numb in the middle, so that it can be written beautifully and easily, otherwise it will be as difficult to control as mopping the floor (Qigong language).

Fourth, it doesn't have to take a long time to practice calligraphy every day, otherwise the more impatient you are, the worse you will be.

Fifth, don't let others comment on what they have written, others say it is useless; See for yourself. Maybe the handwriting is not bad now, but I found something wrong after reading it in the afternoon or evening. Then improve it next time. Whether the written word is good or not may be a compliment, but only you know it.

That's about it, I hope it will help you a little! (The above views are taken from Mr. Qi Gong's lecture)
