I studied calligraphy since I was a child, and I also like vocal music, art and sculpture. 1988 began to study the production and modeling of teapot art and the creation of purple sand sculpture. 1995 studied pottery carving with Mr. Chen Fucheng, a famous calligrapher and engraver in China. He studied the books and later the epitaphs of the Han and Wei Dynasties, and had extensive contacts with Zhong You, Yan, Su Dongpo, Wang, Huang Daozhou and others. Later, he went to Chen Zhenlian Studio of Zhejiang University and studied the calligraphy of "Two Kings" with Professor Zhong Hua. In addition, he went to Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts and China Academy of Fine Arts for further study.

In the long-term study and creative exploration, he learned from others and inherited and innovated in the artistic fields such as pot art, sculpture, calligraphy and pottery carving. In particular, the combination and application of calligraphy and knife carving not only embodies the brushwork of calligraphy, but also shows the charm of knife. This theme not only uses traditional techniques such as landscapes, flowers and birds, figures, but also combines decorative techniques such as stone reliefs in Han culture, brick reliefs, bronzes in Qin dynasty, jade articles, prints, New Year pictures, etc. with the techniques of zisha pottery carving, which breaks through the inherent theme and style of zisha pottery carving, makes the works natural and simple, with strong knife flavor and distinctive personal characteristics, and becomes a model of contemporary "literati pottery carving". His works have won many gold medals in provincial and national arts and crafts exhibitions.
