Side: As the name implies, the brush is inclined, and the center of the nib is biased to the side. It is characterized by rich pen changes and strong pen tension, which is refreshing. The disadvantage is that it is thinner and simpler than the center pen. However, silhouette is one of the most common methods in figure painting, and it also reflects the aesthetic needs under another mentality.
Backstroke: the running mode of the brush in the opposite direction relative to the forward direction of the forehand position. The resistance of strokes to the front increases, the front of strokes converges and diverges, and the change of tightness is different from that of strokes along the direction. The purpose is to pursue the change of pen, which is characterized by blunt pen power and penetrating the back of paper, but lacks femininity. Don't use it often, enough is enough.
Drag before: that is, pour the brush on the paper and drag it. It is characterized by natural transformation and high speed. Under the requirement of accurate figure painting, forward dragging is easier than other methods, and the method is practical and simple. The disadvantage is that the pen is floating, and there is no feeling of penetrating the back of the paper.
