The life of characters in Zhang Hans' works

Zhang Hans, Senior Lecturer of Anhui Art School. Member of China Calligraphers Association, former vice chairman of Anhui Calligraphers Association.

Born in 1938. Also known as Han Dynasty, he was born in Xiaoxian County, Anhui Province. Good at calligraphy and seal cutting, freehand brushwork of flowers and birds.

His works were selected for the first national calligraphy and seal cutting exhibition, Henan International Calligraphy Exhibition and Japanese and Hong Kong Calligraphy Exhibition. 1980' s works won the third prize of "National Calligraphy Collection and Appraisal" and were included in "100 Excellent Works Collection".

Qi Baishi, a beginner in seal cutting, finally returned to Qin and Han Dynasties after Zhao, Huang and Wu Changshuo. The seal cutting works were selected for the first national seal cutting exhibition held in Japan in 1985 and the contemporary seal cutting invitation exhibition in 1986.

Committed to the cause of calligraphy education, responsible for establishing Anhui Calligraphy Correspondence College and compiling calligraphy courses.

He is currently a member of China Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of Anhui Calligraphers Association, former president of Anhui Education Society Calligraphy Education Research Association, vice president of Anhui Seal Cutting Research Association, executive director of China Calligraphy Education Association and dean of Anhui Calligraphy Correspondence College.
