Landmark Landscape —— Former Residence of Cabin
The former residence of the thatched cottage was rebuilt with reference to the characteristics of folk houses in western Sichuan, becoming the landmark landscape of Du Fu's thatched cottage. In the bonsai garden on the east side of the hut, there is a "Du's Calligraphy Woodcut Gallery" built in 1999, which displays more than 100 pieces of Du's calligraphy woodcuts, such as Du's masterpieces, calligraphy masterpieces, nanmu masterpieces and unique carving skills.
Caotang nomination
The word "Caotang" on the plaque at the main entrance of Chengdu Du Fu Caotang was written by Aisinqiao Luo Yun, the 17th son of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The History Museum of Poetry is the central building of Du Fu Caotang Memorial Hall. In the center of the Museum of Poetry and History is Du Fuxiang carved by sculptor Liu Kaiqu, and there are couplets and plaques inscribed by celebrities in past dynasties. There is a portrait of Du Fu in the shrine of the Ministry of Industry, next to which are poets Lu You and Huang Tingjian, both of whom once lived in Sichuan. On the east side of the shrine of the Ministry of Industry is the tablet pavilion of Shaoling Caotang, which symbolizes Du Fu Caotang. Shaoling was originally a place name, and the tomb of Emperor Gaozu Xuan Di was called Ling Du. Queen Xuan Di's mausoleum is called Shaoling because it is smaller than the mausoleum. Du Fu once lived here for a long time. In his poems, he once called himself "Ling Du Night Old Man" and "Shaoling Night Guest".
