From "a pen in the army" to being famous at home and abroad

-Liang, a famous calligrapher

Three night visits

Friends who know the situation all know the hardships of interviewing China's famous contemporary painters and painters in Beijing, and all know that most of my "big worship" in the past two years was spent in Beijing. But I like to visit famous artists in the evening, which may be even more unknown. Interviewing the famous calligrapher Liang is the best example.

Knowing Mr. Liang benefited from a woman calligrapher. It was because of her introduction that I had a "three-night visit" and realized the leap from "Mr. Liang" to "Brother Liang".

A visit to Mr. Liang was on the afternoon of June 2, 2006 1 1. I like to chat with the interviewees in the dead of night, talking about life, of course, more about the artist's "artistic life", the growth process of the artist, and the hardships and efforts of the artist on the artistic road.

"The premise of brilliance is brilliance". On the way to Liang Studio near Beijing Xueyuan Road, I kept thinking.

As a soldier, how can you enjoy the reputation of' a pen in the army'? I was still asking this question when I was near Teacher Liang's studio.

"Why is he a famous pen in the army at home and abroad"; When I am about to step into the door of Liang Studio, I still have doubts.

Mr. Liang, sitting in front of me, is slightly fat, of medium build, with straight half sleeves, and has a steady conversation, which is quite scholarly. His charitable and friendly face is full of bright eyes and wisdom. All this tells me that he is extraordinary, he shines, he shines.

I come straight to the point to tell Mr. Liang that my first interview was too late, which affected the rest of the other party. I can't sleep. I like night visits. How can people stand it? But I never expected that Mr. Liang told me cheerfully that he also liked to communicate with friends in the dead of night. Then I acted as Mr. Liang's good friend and communicated with him late at night. But I still declare in advance that I need at least two such night visits. Mr. Liang told me with a smile: as long as you are free, I am willing to accompany you at night.

During the conversation, I stood up and looked at the huge calligraphy work in front of me, Qinyuanchun, which was signed by Liang Zaijing. The pen is vigorous and powerful, awe-inspiring, with strong phonological penetration and echoing composition, which makes me feast my eyes. ...

As the first interview, my "pen and ink" can't just stay today, but more yesterday and the day before yesterday, so let's pay attention to the day before yesterday.

Liang is a human being and used to be a deputy divisional cadre of the Armed Police Force. Now people are in middle age. My ancestral home is Zhumadian, Henan. Influenced by his family since childhood, he loved the art of calligraphy and became attached to it under the guidance of his grandfather when he was a child. 1970 after joining the army, after intense training and work, he persisted in practicing calligraphy with tenacious perseverance and never took a day off. Soldiers only get an allowance of 6 yuan a month. Unable to afford paper and ink, he dipped in water and practiced writing in the newspaper. Because of his busy work and little free time, he adopted the method of "psychological training". Later he was promoted to an officer and transferred to Beijing. He made full use of Beijing's favorable conditions, learned from teachers everywhere and spent all his spare time studying calligraphy. Colleagues asked him, "Don't you work hard yourself?" He said, "Not only is it not bitter, but it is also fun." Later, Liang Jia went to Beijing with the army, and the troops were busier with business and housework. Nevertheless, he still insists on practicing calligraphy and art every night.

It is precisely because of this that Mr. Liang's calligraphy level has greatly increased, and the reputation of "a pen in the army" has emerged. If the orientation of the first night visit is "the day before yesterday", then the orientation of my second night visit is "yesterday".

"Second visit" to talk about yesterday. My second night visit was from July night 1 1: 30 to morning 1: 30.

Liang said thoughtfully: people had better experience more in this life. The more they experience, the greater their wealth. The speaker has no intention, but the listener has a heart. I deeply feel that Liang's words are meaningful. I was moved by it. Let him go on.

Liang told me that his persistence and persistence in the art of calligraphy has never changed.

In the tide of reform, opening up and market economy, Liang came to Hainan to set up a company and served as the president of Hainan Co., Ltd., with a heavier burden and busier work, but he still did not change his persistent pursuit of calligraphy art. At that time, he had no time during the day, and in the dead of night, he spent sleepless nights in such an environment, but he devoted himself to the rapidly changing and fiercely competitive market economy tide as usual during the day.

Liang also told me that he had been carefully guided by a famous calligrapher and studied under the famous calligrapher for a long time. He won the teacher's biography with his high understanding. Because of this, his writing not only absorbed the essence of ancient law, but also transformed new ideas. Liu Ti, Yan Ti, Zhao Ti and other styles of calligraphy art, Liang eclectic, comprehensive, and gradually formed its own unique style of learning from others. Many people say that Liang's words are powerful and awe-inspiring, with unique performance and creativity, solid basic skills and comprehensive techniques. Liang's calligraphy is good at running script, including regular script, cursive script and Wei script. He not only wrote the main hall and couplets, but also wrote six feet of paper in Chinese characters. What's even more amazing is that he can write a word the size of a soybean with a pen of one or two cents, which is much smaller than that written by ordinary people with a pen. As you can imagine, you can't write good words without a deep foundation. Liang not only did it, but also did it well.

The deep reason why Liang did so well, so high, so wonderful and so unique remains to be my three night visits. I subconsciously looked at my watch. It was 1 o'clock in the morning and I wanted to say goodbye to Mr. Glory. Mr Guang Cai took a pen and asked me to go to his box. I saw him spread out the paper and splash ink, and suddenly. Several "magnificent" calligraphy works are on display. When I was ready to leave, I had already feasted my eyes. I saw Mr. Liang's left and right hands hanging high and waving freely. In a blink of an eye, another calligraphy work of dragons and snakes appeared in front of me. If it weren't for my appointment the next day, I really wouldn't leave.

At about 1: 30 in the morning, I said goodbye to Mr. Liang who asked me to stay many times, for no other reason. This is my principle. However, I just went out for a few minutes and found a place to stay in the street, and I was put to a severe test. Suddenly there was lightning and thunder, and it was stormy. I have been walking in the street with my suitcase. However, I went to one hostel, hotel and guesthouse after another, but there was no place for me to live-either because the other party didn't open the door, didn't receive it, and didn't have a bed, or because the price was too expensive for me to bear. Until half past three in the morning, I finally found a small shop where I could stay. I didn't sleep a wink that night and couldn't sleep. ...

The "three visits" to Liang were at 10 in the evening of July 2006. When I came for the third time, I paid more attention to today and his profound knowledge and extraordinary calligraphy.

During the conversation, Mr. Liang was full of confidence. Liang's calligraphy is so extensive and profound, which is related to his cultural background. When talking about calligraphy theory and famous calligraphers in ancient and modern times, he described them as a few treasures. He can recite the full text of Tao Te Ching, and he knows all the allusions, aphorisms and famous sentences in the Four Books and Five Classics by heart. As for Tang poetry and Song poetry, he is even more handy. Liang's works have participated in many national calligraphy competitions and won prizes. Many provincial calligraphy associations employ him as a member and director. Many of his works have been published in dozens of newspapers and periodicals. Many famous calligraphers praised his words as "magnificent and extraordinary". Many people in the political, cultural and artistic circles have collected his calligraphy works. What's more, his works have been collected by friends in Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan Province Province, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and the United States.

marvelous

Liang went from "a pen in the army" to being famous at home and abroad. His calligraphy creation is vivid and diverse. This is undoubtedly the accumulation of decades, which has made him make great achievements in calligraphy art.

Yes, more than 30 years of military career has refined his strong character and simple feelings:

More than 30 years of calligraphy creation, enjoys a high reputation in today's calligraphy world and becomes a leading figure:

More than 30 years of hard work and struggle have made him shine today:

For more than 30 years, he has always believed in the profound motto of life, that is, "virtue depends on the ground and industry depends on diligence." It is this epigram of life that makes him a great calligrapher and artist with both ability and political integrity.

He told me that in the hard life of the army, he enriched himself, adjusted himself and perfected himself through calligraphy. He said that calligraphy is the greatest spiritual sustenance and hobby in his military life. Calligraphy gave him great support and help, washed away his fatigue and boredom, and added a lot of fun to life. Yes, Liang wandered in the sea of ink, with mission, passion, pursuit and realm.

During his military career of more than 30 years, Liang studied hard, practiced all kinds of inscriptions and studied under many famous artists. Absorbing the essence of classical literature, he wrote Laozi's Tao Te Ching for more than 30 times, with 5000 words. "Diligence" is an important reason for his brilliant achievements in artistic creation.

Liang said that China has a long history of culture. Today, there are many people engaged in painting and calligraphy, but everyone has their own stories, and my creation is constantly seeking development and perfection.

When it comes to what values are, Liang is very calm: whatever I create serves the society, so does my creation, and I pursue greater social values and social effects. Rather than my own fame and the pricing of my works, the pricing of works is not an evaluation of artistic value. Art cannot be measured by money.

Yes, everyone has his own value orientation and is pursuing it silently. Everyone has his own perception of life and struggles silently. What does Liang pursue and struggle for? Liang believes that works and personality are inseparable. Liang also studied Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching and benefited a lot. Liang is modest, sincere and virtuous, regardless of rank, and is praised by all walks of life for his noble artistic and moral demeanor.

Liang expressed helplessness to the phenomenon that the artistic figures are far from each other today. He said. People live for a value, a spirit. When people throw away these things, no amount of money is useless. I see that Liang has always regarded the pursuit of art as the most sacred mission, never tarnished it, and learned a lot from it. "It is like a kind of cultivation for people, which is very beneficial to physical and mental development."

Liang's calligraphy talent is even more rare. What is unusual is that his left and right hand calligraphy is fluent, which is called "three-finger calligraphy" and is his original creation.

Liang is a calligrapher, an artist with both ability and political integrity. He is now a member of the Painting, Calligraphy and Sculpture Art Committee of China Cultural Relics Society. Executive director, member of China Calligraphers Association. Professor of China Painting and Calligraphy Institute. General Manager of China Anhua Group Beijing Jingtong Industrial Company. He participated in national exhibitions for many times and published China Literature and Art Series Liang Calligraphy Collection. 1996 was included in the world famous works collection; 1998 was collected by contemporary painters; He has published calligraphy works in People's Daily, People's Liberation Army Daily and other newspapers. Hainan TV also made a special report for him, and his works were also collected by Japanese, Hongkong, Taiwan Province, Singaporean, American, Korean and other friends.

At the end of this article, I am pleased to tell my dear readers that Liang's calligraphy and calligraphy works were published one after another on the eve of National Day in 2006.

I firmly believe that Liang's persistent pursuit of calligraphy art will be even more dazzling.

Simple brushwork and elegant breath —— Analysis of Liang's calligraphy

Fu Jianzhou

One day, at the invitation of my brother Liang. I was deeply shocked to see his works when I was drinking. The intoxicating Mo Yun between the lines makes me feel refreshed, and there is a feeling of "lingering sound for three days". How can such a good product be a "good" word! Excited, not drunk, but not drunk, but also drunk for Mo Yun. When I woke up after being drunk, I couldn't help myself. I write, I express my feelings, and I will spit it out quickly.

Confucius said: "Those who know are not good, and those who are good are not as good as those who enjoy music", and Mr. Guang Cai is a "musician". Ouyang Yunxiao: "It's better to be tired and happy for yourself than to be tired for yourself. However, since ancient times, there have been tired things, but they are happy for things. " Mr Guang Cai's calligraphy concept can be described as "entertaining", which is rare. He has worked tirelessly in the book world for more than 30 years, with no pen in his hand, no thoughts in his mind, and the spirit of sharpening his sword without fear of words for ten years, which laid a solid foundation for his calligraphy, making his calligraphy vigorous and calm, stirring, simple and fresh, kind and pleasant. "If it is not frozen, how can it be fragrant?" It can really be said that "blowing all the crazy sand will make gold"!

When I opened Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy works, I liked them very much, and I felt very cordial. I feel joy and admiration. Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy is perfect, with bright lines, bright pen and ink, fluent and capable works, and full of aura, which makes me immersed in the artistic enjoyment of beauty.

The former vice chairman of China Calligraphy Association commented on Mr. Liang's calligraphy: fresh, smooth, vivid, profound and vigorous, with solid artistic foundation; Zhang Biao, former vice chairman of China Calligraphy Association, relies on his calligraphy: solid skill, profound knowledge, strong and powerful, awe-inspiring atmosphere; Duan Chenggui, vice chairman of China Calligraphy Association, praised his calligraphy: the sound and rhyme are transparent, the rules echo, the pen and ink skills are profound, powerful and awe-inspiring; Mr. Zhang Huichen, the president of China Beijing Painting and Calligraphy Institute and a famous calligrapher, praised his calligraphy: bright, natural, fresh, free and easy, profound in skill, rich in connotation and full of charm.

I appreciate Mr. Guang Cai's works from the perspective of a calligraphy collector, and my thoughts fluctuate with Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy. I feel a lot, so I take the liberty to enjoy it with my Tibetan friends.

Reading Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy, we can see that he has formed his vigorous and powerful calligraphy style on the basis of synthesizing the strengths of various schools and constantly innovating, and his pen is calm, vigorous, moist and natural. His vigorous calligraphy skills, superb attainments and good artistic accomplishment are everywhere; Looking at his representative works, it can be said that there is nothing in the book, there is a world in the word, there is a soul in the word, and there is a hole in the sky; Its regular script is tepid, neither arrogant nor impetuous; Honest and plain, there is a heavy air, a diamond air, a psychic air, and a free and easy air, giving people a sense of atmosphere, simplicity and chic. His calligraphy is big but not arrogant, heroic but not hegemonic, and has a great beauty style of Zhuang Su and magnanimity. This "great beauty" is exactly what Master Li Keran said: "Real people are wise" and "knowledge in the world can only be acquired by honest and diligent people".

Mr. Guang Cai's running script is lively, fluent and free-and-easy, which shows his profound skill, exquisite pen and natural and casual knot. Borrowing the past and opening up the present, it is concise, lively and appealing to both refined and popular tastes. The reward of this "elegance and vulgarity * * *" comes from his consistent thought of learning ancient times, from his inheritance and innovation of ancient brushwork, from his diligence and thoughtfulness, and from his accurate grasp of the discretion of creative changes. This kind of calligraphy is simple, lovely, straightforward and natural, which makes people feel very cordial.

The realm of cursive script pursued by Mr. Guang Cai is not seeking shape, but seeking shape, not seeking glyph, but seeking lines. He takes meaning as the law, controls ink with emotion, is full of passion, and shows strong appeal and attraction; Its cursive script is free and easy, but vigorous and powerful, magnificent and radiant. This artistic charm comes from Mr. Guangcai's hard work in the book world for more than 30 years. He pursued diligently, explored persistently, and realized with his heart, and finally made gratifying achievements. Writing here, I remembered two words of the ancients: "The night scene of Sang Yu's new Mu Qing, spinning silk day and night to imitate spring silkworms", "The beauty of tailoring is not in the knife ruler." These two sentences are just right, which is of great benefit to Mr. Guang Cai!

Taste Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy works, we can easily find the following distinctive features:

First of all, Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy is fresh, simple and unique. This is because Mr. Guang Cai has a good grasp of the charm of calligraphy, and his calligraphy skills can be self-sufficient, mature and rhyming, which can make the audience feel the beautiful feeling of "colorless and brilliant with pictures, silent and harmonious with music".

Secondly, looking at Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy works, we can see that he is striving for a "quiet" word. Quiet can make calligraphy impetuous; Not arrogant and impetuous, you can be cautious; Rebirth prestige, prestige gives birth to strength, which makes his works have strong shock and appeal; Highlight a "bright" in front of the audience. This "Ming", the ancients said, "A hundred refined works, pure and natural", calligraphy is beyond words, which makes people think. Only in this way can calligraphy be "popular".

Thirdly, Mr. Guang Cai's works are simple, vigorous, cordial and natural. What he pursues is an elegant, refined, down-to-earth and approachable creative road. The so-called pro is "dating the gull in the water before the swallow goes to church", which is natural and amiable, just as people say, "the plain is like plowing cattle, stable and beneficial to the people"; The simple, amiable and natural charm contained in Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy is like the long fragrance of old wine, which makes people memorable. Articles like jade, calligraphy Gu Zhuo has its own fragrance. When people appreciate and praise Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy, who can know the hardships and sweat behind his success? "Plum blossoms come from bitter cold", and Mr. Guang Cai is not exaggerating at all!

Fourthly, Mr Guang Cai's calligraphy is a perfect combination of understanding and spirituality. "Know God, realize from the heart", the hidden front of his calligraphy is full of bones but not dull, while the exposed front is bright but not hasty; Although his light pen is thin and powerful, his heavy pen is thick and full of vitality; Although the big characters are big and dense, the small characters are small and ethereal; There are laws in the pen but not in it, and there are books but no books in every word; Free and easy without losing weight, elegant without losing atmosphere; It has distinct aesthetic characteristics of the times and unique artistic personality; The beauty of strength, movement and rhythm contained in Mr. Guang Cai's calligraphy makes people intoxicated and forget their worries!

Understanding, skill and realm are three indispensable elements in calligraphy, as are learning and calligraphy creation. Realm is the foundation of conception, skill is the foundation of creation, and understanding is the source of inspiration. The most direct feeling of Mr. Guan's calligraphy is that he expresses his feelings in the form of pen and ink, expresses his extensive knowledge and unique aesthetic pursuit, and has the reputation of "silence is better than sound, intangible and vivid". He gains momentum with simplicity, rhymes with words, has feelings in pen and ink, and has a deep and elegant atmosphere in concise pen and ink. His works are aura, fresh and free, and intended to

The sea of art is endless! The road to artistic exploration is long and tortuous. However, with Mr. Guang Cai's good mentality and persistent pursuit of being a "happy person", we firmly believe that Mr. Guang Cai's achievements in calligraphy art will definitely be in by going up one flight of stairs, adding wonderful flowers to the magnificent art garden where all flowers bloom and glory.
