In daily study, work and life, everyone must have been exposed to composition. According to the different writing time limit, composition can be divided into limited composition and unlimited composition. In order to make your writing easier and more convenient, the following is a composition of about 650 words, describing my story in calligraphy. Welcome to reading. I hope you will like it.

Calligraphy is an art that I yearned for since I was a child. Looking at other people's good handwriting, I am envious. It is because of this idea that I embarked on the road of calligraphy.

I have been writing with a brush for several hours almost every day since the first grade. Sometimes it's a bit sloppy. I've been working hard for two weeks. So, I welcomed the teacher's first praise. He said, "What's your name? Well written, very talented! " After listening to this sentence, although my mouth just rose slightly, my heart was full of joy. Next to the mother also cast an admiring look. "Ha ha, DE teacher said I have a gift. I must work hard and live up to everyone's expectations of me. I must become a great calligrapher like Teacher Di in the future. " I thought to myself.

Since then, I seem to be a little complacent, and the words "very talented" often ring in my ears. I am not as diligent as before. I've been practicing for a while and want to have a rest. Even I sometimes naively think that talented people must have an advantage over those without talent. If I practice a little, I will be as good as others. But the good times didn't last long. I was criticized by Teacher Di for the first time. Teacher De looked at my handwriting that day and didn't speak for a long time. I think my handwriting is not as good as before, you can see it from his expression! He didn't criticize me much, only said: "The writing style is not as good as before, don't be proud!" I was a little sad after listening to Teacher Di's words, and it also made me understand that pride makes people fall behind. From then on, I studied hard, kept practicing according to the teacher's requirements, and never got sloppy.

Now, calligraphy has been with me for five years, and I am not a beginner who can only write strokes proudly. Now my calligraphy has passed Grade 9, and I seem to be a "little calligrapher". Because my handwriting is very good, I often take part in competitions and win the first prize every time. My works are also exhibited in Yancheng Museum, and I have published books with other calligraphy partners.

The idea of becoming a calligrapher is still in my heart, which is my lifelong dream.
