Ou Yangxun is one of the four masters of regular script (Ou Yangxun, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan and Zhao Mengfu). Ou Yangxun is known as the first regular script in Tang Dynasty for his rigorous brushwork and precipitous brushwork. He and Yu Shinan were both famous for their calligraphy in the early Tang Dynasty, also known as "Ou Yu". Later generations saw danger in peace with their books, and Xi Zhi, the first one, was named "Ou Ti".
I think the most striking feature is thinness. -Easy to identify.
His calligraphy achievements are based on regular script, with bold brushwork and unique structure, which is called "European style" by later generations. Originated from Han Li, he is vigorous, rigorous in statutes, sees danger in peacetime, elegant in composition, interspersed with brushstrokes and properly arranged. Regular script is the Ming Dynasty of Liquan in Jiucheng Palace, and the most famous running scripts are Meng Diantie and Hans Zhang Tie.
There are two kinds of official script fonts that we often see in the media now: one is official script. Every stroke is smooth and smooth. One is Han Li. Very antique, vigorous and powerful. It has the style of Wei Bei. More bones and less meat. Rigid and compact.
The following two pictures: the first one is from Ou Yangxun; The latter is the work of Han Li (not very good).
