The more popular genre in the poetry world of the Tang Dynasty was the five-character poem. The five-character ancient poem is referred to as the Wugu. Lyricism, discussion, and scene description have given unprecedented play to its functions. Its representative writers include Li Bai, Du Fu, Wang Wei, Meng Haoran, Wei Yingwu, etc.
Seven-character ancient poetry, referred to as Qigu, originated during the Warring States Period. Even earlier. It is now recognized that the earliest and most complete Qigu is Cao Pi's "Yan Ge Xing".

Five-character rhymed poetry, referred to as Wulu, is a type of rhymed poetry published in "Three Hundred Tang Poems Annotations"
published in the spring of the late Xin Dynasty of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. Wulu originated from the ancient five-character style, with a neat style, powerful melody, and profound implications. It became a commonly used poetry theme in the Tang Dynasty for writing, exams, and daily life. There were countless famous Wulu masters in the Tang Dynasty, among whom Wang Changling, Wang Wei, Meng Haoran, Li Bai, Du Fu and Liu Changqing were the most successful.

Seven-character rhyme poetry is referred to as Qilu, which is a type of modern poetry. The metrical requirements are the same as those of five rhymes. Qilu originated from the ancient seven-character style, which gradually became large-scale in the early Tang Dynasty, and was perfected by Du Fu. In the Tang Dynasty, the Qilu sages included Wang Wei, Du Fu, Li Shangyin, Du Mu, Luo Yin, etc. Their splendor was unparalleled and reflected the past and present.

There are many things to pay attention to in the rhyme, level, and antithesis of Tang poetry. The meter is very strict, the rhyme is rhyme, the level of each sentence is stipulated, each poem must have antithesis, and the position of the antithesis is also stipulated.
Wuyan means five characters to one sentence, and Qiyan means seven characters to one sentence. Five-character ancient poems are referred to as Wugu, seven-character ancient poems are referred to as Qigu; five-character rhymed poems are referred to as Wulu, and seven-character rhymed poems are referred to as Qilv; five-character quatrains are referred to as Wujue, and seven-character quatrains are referred to as Qijue.
And Song Ci
. Ci is a type of poetry. Because it is the lyrics of Hele, it is also called tune lyrics, Yuefu, music, long and short sentences, poetry, Qinqu, etc. It began in the Tang Dynasty, was finalized in the Five Dynasties, and flourished in the Song Dynasty. Song Ci is the most distinctive literary style of the Song Dynasty, and it has the characteristics of both literature and music. Each word has a tune name, which is called "Cipai", and filling the words according to the tune is called "Yisheng". Words are also known as "long and short sentences".
There are 5 classification methods for words
1. According to length, words can be roughly divided into small sentences (within 58 words), middle tunes (59 to 100 words) Within 90 characters) and long tune (more than 91 characters, the longest word reaches 240 characters). Some of a word has only one paragraph, which is called monotone; some has two paragraphs, which is called double tone; some has three or four paragraphs, which is called triple or quadruple. 2. According to the nature of music, Ci can be divided into nine types: Ling, Yin, Man, Santai, Xuzi, Faqu, Daqu, Guanling and Zhugong. 3. According to beats, there are four common types: Ling, also known as Xiao Ling, which has a shorter beat; Yin, which uses a small Ling to be subtle and leads to a longer one; Near, which uses a similar pitch to lead to a longer one; Slow, The longer it gets. 4. According to the creative style, it can be roughly divided into the graceful school and the bold school. 5. Divide according to the origin of word cards.
