Calligrapher Shao Huaze
Shao Huaze, male, born in June 1933, is from Chun'an, Zhejiang. In October 2001, he served as the sixth chairman of the All-China Journalists Association. In March 1993, he was elected as the honorary president of the China Press Photography Society. In December 1995, he was elected as the honorary president of the China Press Association. Representative to the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, member of the 14th to 15th Central Committee; representative to the 4th National People's Congress; member of the Standing Committee of the 9th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He was awarded the rank of major general in 1988 and was later promoted to lieutenant general. I have been included in books such as "Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphers, Painters and Seal Engravers" and "Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy Art".
