Jia Yufu's Expert Comments

The three rivers are full of blood, and the cock's soul is devoted-Yong (director of China Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper)

When I first met the famous painter Jia Yufu, I thought he was an extremely elegant painter. During the two-hour contact, I was really moved by his words in Kan Kan.

Born in a scholarly family, Jia Yufu studied calligraphy and painting since childhood, and then joined the regular army (the honor guards of the three armed forces of the Chinese People's Liberation Army) and studied under many famous artists (Qi Gong, Zhang Shijian, Liu Bingsen and Li Duo). Later, he studied calligraphy and painting skills in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, took Dong Shouping and other painting masters as teachers, made in-depth exploration, paid attention to pen and ink, paid attention to charm, and got some experience of traditional artistic spirit. His works are changeable in composition and ink painting.

Many things happen. On 1984, Jia Yufu successfully held a personal painting and calligraphy exhibition on the 35th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), which was inscribed by the famous calligrapher Li Duo, and jointly created a huge Chinese painting "Zhao Hui". 1988 10,1989 in July and1991May were invited to Japan for three times, and exhibited in Okayama and Osaka, and won more than 20 national awards such as the gold medal in the China-Japan calligraphy and painting exhibition. His works are collected by many museums, pomegranate by the Great Hall of the People, clear sky Universiade by Chairman Mao, lotus by China National Museum, Jiufeng by Ziguangge in Zhongnanhai, Fu Guitu by China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper and Taihō by Beijing Club. Mei Julanju was collected by the American Embassy in China. Newspapers such as People's Daily, Guangming Daily, Life Daily, China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper, and China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper reported successively, which was well received by leading comrades such as Wang Guangying, former vice chairman of the National People's Congress.

The two traditional terms "having both form and spirit and vivid charm" have become vulgar and mediocre because of abuse. In fact, paintings that can reach this level have always been rare. Looking at Jia Yufu's paintings today, people will naturally say that they are "both in form and spirit and vivid in spirit".

Jia Yufu's paintings have both form and spirit and vivid charm, which is a unique artistic realm. In his paintings, form, spirit and rhyme are integrated. The reason why he can achieve this maturity is that unlike some painters, he paints the spirit with form, paints the rhyme with the spirit, writes the form with the spirit, and writes the rhyme with the spirit, thus achieving the consistency of interest and interest. Whether you draw a chicken or write flowers, it's the same. He always writes casually when he draws chickens. Charm and interest are muddy. Then, with the method of splashing ink and coloring, the vast and chaotic and magnificent world scene is contrasted and dyed, giving poetry artistic conception, rooster sky and proud style. Although there are similarities in the application of techniques in his paintings, he does not have a pungent style of painting chickens, but adopts an elegant and boneless painting method, striving to show the delicate and charming flowers, the rain and dew are full of affection, and the charm is myriad. Even if the painting method similar to splashing ink is adopted, it must be concise and deep, so as to form a strong contrast with the delicate flowers and make the picture more fresh and luxurious and vivid.

Jia Yufu painted chickens and flowers, which well showed the two sides of his character. I think his character has a resolute, bold and stubborn side, but also a kind, meticulous and detached side, so this may be related to his military career, so his paintings are bold and unrestrained, fresh and luxurious, and really picturesque. Nowadays, painters are eager for quick success and quick success, and they are opportunistic. I'm afraid it's hard to appreciate the life interest and artistic meaning contained in Jia Yufu's paintings. Finally, we wish Jia Yufu a wider and wider painting road, and his world of flowers and birds will become more and more wonderful.
