1992 joined the China Young Calligraphers Association. In the same year, he served as a judge of the National Young Calligraphers Rating Committee and deputy secretary-general of Wanbei Branch. At present, he is a painter of Wenhua Pavilion Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the Overseas Chinese Federation of the Ministry of Culture, director of Zhejiang Creative Base, member of China Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee of the Ministry of Culture, director of China Painters Association, director of the Art Market Liaison Office of the Art Committee of China Film and Television Technology Society, market editor of Zhejiang Fuyang Art Market Editorial Department, and artistic director of Jinyutang Art Park. He was also employed as an academician of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, honorary president of Wang Duo Painting and Calligraphy Institute, lifelong honorary president of Oriental Art Institute, painter of Calligraphy Institute of Anhui Laozi Painting Institute and Inner Mongolia Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
Wang Chang is good at writing bamboo. His works have been exhibited in 27 countries, and he has represented China painting and calligraphy artists in French, Australian, Japanese, Korean, Singaporean and other countries for artistic exchanges. His works have been presented to international friends as national gifts by national leaders for many times, and many of his works have been collected by many domestic and foreign art institutions, such as Korean Folk Museum, Korean Calligraphy and Painting Association, Jeju Lee Ching Kee Art Museum, Gwangju Folk Museum and so on. Personal art calendar and works have been included in more than 20 professional books, such as China Contemporary Artists' Masterpieces, China Calligraphy and Painting Works, China Contemporary Artists' Collection Festival, and World Outstanding Experts' Masterpieces, and have been awarded "Top 0/00 Contemporary Young Artists", "Top 0/00 Contemporary Artists" and "Internationally Famous Artists" successively.
