With the implementation of the national standard "Technical Specification for Daily Protective Masks" (GB/T326 10-20 16), adult protective masks have a standard to follow, and people pay more and more attention to children's masks. With the increasing demand for children's masks, there are more and more children's masks on the market, mainly flat masks and folding masks. These masks can be used as daily sanitary masks. There are also some masks that are just miniature versions of adult masks. Generally, this kind of mask has a large respiratory resistance, which is not conducive to the protection of children's respiratory system. Due to the lack of standards for children's masks, it is impossible to judge whether the children's masks on the market are suitable for children.
China's mask standards are divided into three categories: civil mask standards, industrial mask standards and medical mask standards, which are not applicable to children's masks. There is no international standard for child protective masks. Because of different concepts, European and American countries do not recommend children to wear masks. All mask standards are applicable to industrial protection or medical protection, and there are no civilian mask standards or children's mask standards.
The air environment has been greatly improved under the vigorous governance of China Municipal Government, but with the people's concern for health, the expectation of the society to formulate the standard of children's masks suitable for polluting the environment is also increasing. In the process of compiling the national standard "Technical Specification for Daily Protective Masks" (GB/T326 10-20 16), China Industrial Textile Industry Association has a clear understanding of how masks can achieve their functional indicators and what corresponding protection people need to breathe, and has accumulated some experience in compiling mask standards. On the basis of previous investigation, China Industrial Textile Industry Association formally submitted an application to the National Standardization Administration Committee on 20 17 1 to formulate the national standard "Technical Specification for Children's Daily Protective Masks".
