The youngest provincial party secretary in China is Chen Gang.
Chen Gang, male, Han nationality, born in April 1965, is a member of the 20th Central Committee, Secretary of the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee, and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress. He is the youngest party secretary among all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government. Bit. He was admitted to the Department of Chemistry of Yangzhou Normal University at the age of 15, started studying for a master's degree in the Department of Applied Chemistry of Harbin Institute of Technology at the age of 19, and began studying for a PhD in the Department of Chemistry at Peking University at the age of 22.
