Thoughts on Reading A Dream of Red Mansions

The first time I saw a dream of red mansions was in junior high school, which can be said to be admirable. I want to see what a sad story is told by a famous book that has been praised through the ages.

In fact, it is not exact to describe A Dream of Red Mansions with "sadness", but the "sadness" in the original text is the best interpretation. "Full of ridiculous words, a pair of tearful eyes." What is absurd is not only Cao Gong's dream, but also the fate of the society at that time and the people living in that society.

I think everyone in Guo Rong Building, their life, can be described by a post-90s word: tangled! Their life makes me feel very abusive, sad, helpless and lucky. Cao Gong covered all the scholars with gorgeous blindfolds, watched them drink for fun, gave each other poems, held family dinners and put on a big banquet. Lin Daiyu, a clumsy child, lived a poetic life: she sent flowers and sang poems to the funeral, sighing from time to time that the years were running like water, and the beauty had gone, and she always missed the Spring and Autumn Period and cried. The Jia family is also a member of the royal family and a prominent official. After Baoyu went to school last time, people under his family were still fighting. Life can be said to be luxurious, just like the family of countless dude, the mansion in Guo Rong is magnificent. A man in a red chamber is like a canary in a golden cage, without a soul. Behind this gorgeous eye patch is the endless nothingness in the soul. This kind of abuse is heart abuse. Their spiritual life is bleak, but they can only helplessly curl up in the empty shell of this society. For example, Jia Baoyu, who is as timid as a mouse and sissy, Xue Pan, who is like a loser, and Xue Baochai, who can't control herself, are pathetic. Just like the movie Zasa in the Hunting Ground, someone has to stand up and subvert this unreasonable so-called system. Someone also stood up in a dream of red mansions, this awkward child, Lin Daiyu.

"The real sister Lin's mouth is not hateful, nor is it love." This clumsy child's unique rebellious and withdrawn character and disdain for the world make her stand out from the crowd everywhere. Reading the West Chamber before the flowers, there is nothing taboo; I don't like rhetoric, and I will do what I say; Advocating the truth, indifferent to fame and fortune ... all these make her like a lotus, always clinging to her purity, purity and cleanliness, as clear as jasper. Daiyu's poems are picturesque and interesting. Every time I have a fight with my sisters, I am always brilliant and full of artistic sense. Whether it is a teenager listening to the poems on the rain song building, I want to be immortal; Or the desolation of plants and the return of wild geese to the south, the tenderness of flowers can solve the affair of language; All of them reflect her elegant and refined poet temperament. But in the end, the clumsy child ended up with a tragic ending of "a wisp of fragrant soul dispersed with the wind and never dreamed for the third night" On the one hand, Baoyu's wedding was full of joy, on the other hand, no one cared. The protagonist in Zasa in the Hunting Ground finally chose to leave, while Daiyu chose to die. These brave "stand out" people not only challenged this absurd system, but also reflected the deep-rooted absurd system.

Speaking of Lin Daiyu, I have to say that Jia Lin is obsessed with red powder. In a dream of red mansions, the love between these two people is the purest. Growing up, falling in love when you grow up. Cao Gong simply pushed the boat with the current, making you feel that another love story spread all over the world was born. Its appearance is so natural that few people doubt that it is so pure. But untimely love is synonymous with pain. In the end, there was a big ending of "I don't know the fate of losing my family". At this point, I have to get to the bottom of it again: who are the misfits who really can't beat the real Yuanyang? Presumably all officials will gnash their teeth: feudal society. Here, I will compare Lan Zhi in Peacock Flying Southeast with the women in Daiyu's Self-protection, and then criticize this absurd system.

Similarly, when it comes to love, Peacock Flying Southeast is in full swing and warm as wine, while A Dream of Red Mansions is as beautiful as jade, delicate and warm. Two kinds of love also shaped two kinds of women. Lan Zhi always shed tears four times, while Daiyu stayed in Lacrimosa all day. When faced with the same forced separation, Lan Zhi read angrily, "I am going to die today, and my soul will stay forever!" Resolutely drown. Daiyu still repaid Baoyu's nectar with tears, and finally gave up. Same death, strong death, tragic death. But they are also arrogant, pursuing true love and daring to stand out from the crowd, but they can't escape the burial of feudal society. But the advantage of Daiyu over Lan Zhi is that Daiyu has true love, while Lan Zhi only has true love.

If Lan Zhi is strong-willed, then the woman in Self-protection is strong. She never shed a tear in the face of her husband's atrocities. She was stronger than the weak Daiyu and chose to leave her husband. But as long as you think about it, you can know that this strong girl will eventually escape the fate of the times. She, Lan Zhi and Daiyu bravely became "people who stood up", and this person's "fate" was either death or going.

Peacock flies southeast, Mang and Dream of Red Mansions. These short stories are like streams. No matter how many obstacles and bends you encounter, it will inevitably merge into the long river of history and into the river of the times. I can only sigh that nature makes people live in the mud of feudal society, and this mud is the grave of freedom, truth and true love!

Speaking of this grave, I have to say another poor man buried in this grave, Xue Baochai.

Xue Baochai's family is well-off, and she has read poetry books since childhood. Received an extremely comprehensive and orthodox education. Jia Mu always praised her as "quiet and generous". Yes, this is exactly the way she was educated since she was a child, and it is also the virtue that ancient women should have. Even sorrow and joy should not have color, otherwise it is "disrespect." Throughout the book, her behavior almost never goes beyond these constraints. Only once did Baoyu compare her to Yang Fei, which made her furious, but it was just a cold irony. In fact, she is the saddest person, who has been influenced by other people's opinions and education all her life. I never know what I want. I'm not happy and I'm not happy. I just follow the path of nature. I have never loved wholeheartedly, and I dare not pursue love bravely. No one really cares about her. And she thinks the world is like this. It is believed that the relationship between husband and wife is not sincere feelings, but the respect of "quoting Qi Mei". Such a cold rule turned out to be that she abided by the principles of her own life, and she was numb and unconscious. Finally, Baoyu became a monk, and the Jia family was in a mess. At this time, I can think that Baochai is such a character and so young. At this moment, I thought about how my life would end. Her pain is not actually under the burning of Daiyu! But she can only restrain herself. This is her "respect"!

At this point, we might as well compare the clumsy child with the poor man. As a tragic figure, Baochai's life may be even more tragic. Daiyu at least pursued her own happiness, got sincere feelings, and finally died, getting rid of all the pain. Baochai, on the other hand, has been "ignorant" all her life. According to her personality, she can only let the blunt knife of life cut her life bit by bit all her life! It's really "jade belt hangs the forest, gold hairpin buries the snow"!

After reading the whole article, I couldn't help sighing and trying to say something, but I couldn't say anything. Just as Wang Youjun sighed in Preface to the Lanting Pavilion: "The article is difficult but not sad, not comparable to my heart"! After reading this article, it has been more than 200 years late, and I can still criticize this and pity that calmly. If it's really from the authorities, I don't know how uncomfortable it is! As the book says, "A piece of nonsense is a bitter tear. Dou Yun's author is stupid, who knows the taste. " If A Dream of Red Mansions is really a description of Cao Xueqin's personal experience, then I can feel the pain of a man losing his beloved. The fire of hell is burning around me, which is terrible and makes my mind stagnate. This is not painful pain, but painful love. When Cao Gong, who had shed all his blood and tears, turned to face that unbearable history, how could he not sigh "full of absurd words and bitter tears"!
