1959, the preparatory group of Shanxi Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Research Association was established; 1979, Shanxi Calligraphy Research Association was established; On June 3rd,1981165438 Shanxi Branch of China Calligraphers Association was formally established, and the first member congress was held. By 2002, it had held one, two and three congresses.
