Li Haoran (1887 ~ 1947) was born in Xianyang, Shaanxi. . Li Haoran inherited the ancestral tradition of "loyalty and family heirloom", was conscientious and innocent, ran a newspaper on the principle of "no party or faction", objectively reported the facts, upheld justice and never dealt with any forces. Li Haoran has profound attainments in calligraphy, especially in small letters, which can be described as natural posture, beautiful bones, stable characters and vivid stippling, and is the last work of Zhao Mengfu. According to Li Lingyan, Li Haoran's eldest grandson, "three to five people come to ask questions every week, most of them are fans." Li Haoran's works are also common in auctions in recent years. In his memoir "Old News of the Sea", he wrote: "I have heard Zhang () praise Mr. Li more than once, saying that" Mr. Zhang's moral character and articles are amazing, and he has been my bosom friend all my life. " "The old people in the news newspaper said that Mr. Li was extremely kind to his colleagues, never harsh words and looks, rarely returned to the outside world, and never had bad habits. After liberation, the Shanghai CPPCC Literature and History Information Committee tried to investigate the information of Shanghai hooligans, and found that many people in the press had deep or shallow connections with the so-called "Yellow Gate" and "Dumen", while Mr. Li had no connection at all. He was really a "modest gentleman" who got out of the mud without staining. 1On July 25th, 947, Li Haoran died in a car accident on his way to work by tram. Yu Youren wrote elegiac couplet: "Wen Xiang has been handed down from generation to generation, but it never rains but it pours, crying for the old friend", and Cheng Cangbo wrote elegiac couplet: "Being maverick, reporting for thirty-two years, mourning for twelve hours, will become an eternal tactic". Yu Youren's tombstone reads: "The tomb of journalist Gong Li Haoran. "It is true that The Reporter is indeed the best annotation for Li Haoran's life.
