First of all, I am very grateful to the leaders for providing us four teachers with this learning opportunity. After 15 days of intensive and closed training, we felt the profoundness of China's 5,000-year-old culture, which led to our desire to know more about national culture. Teacher Yang Shufen from Taiwan Province not only taught us calligraphy, but also made us realize the profoundness of Chinese studies.
Culture is the soul of a nation, art originates from morality and shows kindness. Calligraphy art is the treasure of China's 5,000-year-old culture. Through this training, I got rid of my inner impetuous spirit and understood the significance of calligraphy teaching, which is more of a moral cultivation and spiritual precipitation. This training has received the attention and support of district leaders, bureau leaders and school leaders.
It embodies the original intention of "excellent traditional culture enters the campus, calligraphy education enters the classroom, and classic reading enters the teaching materials", strengthens the education of traditional culture in China in schools, and improves the ability of calligraphy writing and classic reading. Only by "writing well, reading well and being a good person" can you learn independently and find your interest in learning, which is also the guiding ideology of the "three advances" activities.
Unfortunately, the study time is short, I can't understand the essence of Chinese studies, and I only learn the tip of the iceberg. However, this training has opened the door for me to study Chinese studies in depth. I will have a deeper understanding of Chinese studies and study and apply Chinese studies in the future. For half a month, practicing calligraphy repeatedly every day not only cultivated our sentiment, enhanced our patience, but also learned to treat others with an open mind.
The principle of not being good or evil can set a benchmark for my personal growth. I believe that through this training, I can understand my own shortcomings and deficiencies, know how to be a man to make up for my previous shortcomings, and be able to move forward step by step on the road of progress.
Schools and leaders have given us opportunities to learn. We should not flatter ourselves. We should apply what we have learned to our work. As a teacher, we should keep learning, enrich ourselves and teach more students. The progress of one person can't change anything, but the progress of a group of people can change an era. As an engineer of human soul, I will try my best to change more people with our knowledge.
