At the end of Qing Dynasty, Wang Chaodong was an official in Jinan.

Wang Chaodong was born in Yishun Village, Xinshunli Township, xiuwen county in the early years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. Facing the east, he is brilliant and ambitious. When he was young, he studied poetry and calligraphy under Shi Jun in Sululuo. He likes reading literature and history. When I entered my youth, I admired Shi Dakai's political and military talents and was good at discussing the gains and losses of chaos in ancient and modern times. Whenever I talk about the lessons of the Qing army's entry into the customs, the defeat of Li Zicheng and the failure of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, I burst into tears.

In my spare time, I practice horse riding and martial arts to strengthen my body and serve my country in the future.

The imperial examination was abolished, and army primary schools were held in various places to train military talents. Chaodong was ecstatic when he learned that he tore off the Confucian towel on his head and threw it on the ground, saying, "I have a home!" " On the same day, I arrived in Guiyang, the provincial capital, and entered the Army Primary School. In school, he made friends with people of insight in the east and rebelled against the great cause of Qing and Han dynasties. Unexpectedly, this matter was leaked, dozens of associates were dismissed, and he also sneaked back to his hometown. When Xiuwen Guang Zhi School was founded, there were many talents in the county, and they traveled eastward between teachers and students of Guangzhi. He often talks about current affairs with teacher Zhang Bixi and student Yan Chongjie. Whenever he talks about corruption in the Qing court, the people are in hot water and always passionate. He often goes deep into the people and talks with the poor in teahouses and restaurants to understand their sufferings. He also made friends with society and developed the Socialist Party, hoping to use its power as a revolutionary force.

In the Spring Festival of Guangxu thirty-three years (1907), I felt the great cause of the nation in the east. At the end of the revolution, there was an angry couplet on my front door, and Shi Dakai's epigram hung indoors: "I endured dressing in my country, but I fell in the righteous emperor; I am a hero in the Central Plains, and I will return my rivers and mountains. " One day, I invited my colleagues to a party at home to discuss the riot. Unexpectedly, they were tipped off. The magistrate of a county was frightened and sent personnel to capture Chaodong and his mother. Thanks to the letter from the Central Committee of the county government, he sneaked into the county seat and hid in Zhang Bixi's home. Later, when he learned that Sun Yat-sen and Huang Xing advocated revolution, he ordered his younger brother to sell the land at home and raise money to go to Baoding, Hebei Province to take an examination of the Army Normal School with Zhang Bixi, and said to Zhang, "If a gentleman doesn't know military affairs, how can he fight with the Tatars!" Before leaving, he said to Yan Chongjie and others who saw him off: "The Army Primary School is really a place where talents gather in central Guizhou. I hope you can enter it, and your grandson and Huang Ju can make it the source of the revolution in central Guizhou. " Later, Yan Chongjie was admitted to the Army Primary School from teaching, and participated in the organization of historical research societies and revolutionary societies such as Xinghanshe, accumulating strength and laying the foundation for the recovery of Guizhou in the Battle of 1911.

After Wang Chaodong and Zhang Bixi arrived in Baoding together, at the end of the probation period, they unfortunately died of abdominal illness and died in a foreign country, which failed to show their ambition to overthrow the feudal monarchy and recover China. People spoke highly of Zhao Dong, saying that "the Xinhai Revolution restored Zhao Dong to Guizhou and made him."
