Why is Li Zhimin the first person in modern weeds?

Li Zhimin (1925— 1994), a senior professor in Peking University, was the first president of Peking University Yanyuan Calligraphy and Painting Association (predecessor of Peking University Calligraphy and Painting Association), director of China Calligraphers Association, deputy director of China Calligraphers Association, first vice chairman of Beijing Calligraphers Association and director of the judging committee. He studied in Wuchang Art College in his early years and taught in Peking University all the year round. Proficient in English, French, German and Russian foreign languages, with a solid foundation in Chinese studies. He is good at writing poems, paintings and cursive scripts, especially in Weibei and weeds. His Weeds filled the gap in the history of weeds in China in the 20th century. At the same time, calligraphy theory's research has also made great contributions, including On Books-Notes on Learning Books in Sanchuntang (Peking University Press, 1992 edition) and On Grass-Crazy Grass in Sanchuntang (Peking University Press, 20 14 edition). He is a great master of contemporary China calligraphy and a pioneer who draws inspiration from tablets. He and Shen are called "two masters in the history of calligraphy in Peking University" and "Nanlin Beimei".
