Nanyi is located in Jiangsu Province, a coastal province with relatively developed economy, and its strength ranks first among the six major art colleges. The school originated from Shanghai Painting Academy and was established in 19 12. 1952 developed into a comprehensive art college after the development and adjustment of departments. 1959 was renamed as Nanjing Art College, and ended on 202 1.
In the fourth round of subject evaluation by the Ministry of Education, Nanyi Fine Arts got A, Design, Music and Dance got A-, and Art Theory, Drama and Film and Television got B+. Although all art disciplines are not top-notch, they are in the forefront in China, especially the art design major, which is not worse than the other six fine arts institutes except Gome and Yangmei.
At present, the school has five first-class doctoral programs in fine arts, design, art theory, music and dance, drama and film and television. There are 39 undergraduate majors, of which 16 majors are listed as national first-class undergraduate majors, namely Chinese painting, visual communication design, product design, art design, fine arts, painting, dance, animation, art history, musicology, environmental design, arts and crafts, radio and television director, digital media art, drama, film and television literature and calligraphy.
2. Guangxi Art Institute: Nanning, Guangxi
Guangyi, located in Guangxi, was founded in Guilin in 1938. It was a "training course for art teachers in basic schools for nationalities in Guangxi Province". It was abolished in the adjustment of departments in 1952, rebuilt in Nanning in 1958, and renamed Guangxi Art College in 1960, and gradually developed into a comprehensive art college. At present, the school covers an area of more than 650 mu, with 4 campuses and various students10.5 million.
At present, the school has six first-class master's majors, including art theory, music and dance, drama, film and television, art, design and news communication. In the fourth round of subject evaluation, art won B+, design, music and dance won B, and art theory won C+. Comprehensive strength ranks second among the six major art colleges. At present, there are five national first-class undergraduate professional construction sites: Chinese painting, painting, music performance, advertising and visual communication design.
