Poems that are brave after knowing shame

Among many Chinese characters, the word "Sheng" has a very high status and is generally not easily used. For this word, Shuo Wen Jie Zi explains: "A saint is also a master." People who are very proficient in a certain field are usually labeled as "saints" by later generations. For example, Wang Xizhi, a book sage, Wu Daozi, Du Fu, Lu Yu of Cha Sheng and Zhang Zhongjing, a medical sage, are all well-known names. They are almost household names, just like Confucius in Wen Sheng and Guan Gong in martial arts.

However, in addition to the above seven, there is actually a great swordsman, but mentioning this person's name will make many people feel strange. In many cartoons, games and novels, you can often find the title of "Great Sword Master". However, in the history of our country, there is indeed a widely recognized "blade master". His name is Pei Min, who was active in the Kaiyuan period of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and is now a popular figure in Shanxi. Pei Minzhi once participated in the wars against Westerners, Khitan and Tubo in the Tang Dynasty, and was promoted to "General Sargingo" for his military achievements.

When Tang Wenzong was in power, the Tang people called Li Bai's poems, Zhang Xu's cursive script and Pei Min's sword "three unique skills", so Pei Min was honored as the "blade master" by people at that time, and this title has been passed down through the ages.

How unique is Pei Min's fencing? According to "unparalleled record", he "threw a sword into the clouds, dozens of feet high. If lightning strikes down, the hilt of the sword holds the sheath in its hand, and thousands of people will be chilling from the air. " This wave of operation is not so fancy, but it is extremely difficult to operate. Ordinary people need very skilled skills to insert the sword into the scabbard quickly and accurately, but Pei Min caught the sword falling from dozens of feet, and its speed also made this simple operation a "day show".

Pei Min's wave operation, if written by a novelist, will definitely be written as a quiz for outstanding masters. In fact, Pei Min's story, like the protagonists in some novels, has a history of "escalation".

In addition to his unique skills in fencing, Pei Min is also good at archery. It is said that he was once attacked by a spider as big as a wheel when he was passing through a deep mountain. After some fighting, Pei Min "shot him with a bow". After killing the spider, Pei Min naturally got a magic weapon. Spider webs are very effective in stopping bleeding. Whenever his men are injured and bleed, he will "cut a square inch and stick it, and the bleeding will stop."

From a scientific and rational point of view, Pei Min's story is somewhat exaggerated, and the ancients who recorded it must not be fans of the blade master, so it may be embellished. Besides shooting spiders, Pei Min has another wonderful story-shooting tigers.

Pei Minzhi was stationed in Beiping when he was appointed as Longhua's ambassador. At that time, there were many tigers in Peiping, and the people of Peiping suffered greatly. Pei Minzhi is both a local governor and an archer, so it is impossible to sit idly by. So Pei Min went into the mountain and said, "Thirty tigers can be killed in one day." . When Pei Min came out of the mountain contentedly, the local old man told him, "These are all tigers, but they are like tigers. If the general meets a real tiger, what can he do? "

The so-called "tiger" is a mysterious animal in China culture. The so-called "tiger gives birth to three children, there must be a tiger", which is between a tiger and a leopard, but it is also an extra cub of a female tiger. Pei Min naturally didn't believe it when he learned it, so he asked the old man where the tiger was and "jumped away" after knowing the specific location.

Sure enough, a young tiger jumped out after arriving, but the tiger is a tiger after all, although it is small. Pei Min's horse was startled when he saw it. Pei Min's bow and arrow fell to the ground when the horse was frightened, so he had to escape first. Peimin, who doesn't have a bow and arrow, if he runs slowly, he may become a tiger's meal with the horse, so he has a shadow in his heart and never talks about hitting the tiger again.

Although Pei Minzhi overturned the tiger with one arrow, his reputation as a "blade master" was not greatly affected. Even Wang Wei, a famous poet, admired him very much, and wrote a special poem "To General Pei":

There is a seven-star sword on the waist and a bow engraved on the arm.

I didn't know there was a general in the sky until I saw that I had captured Lu in the clouds.

Compared with the well-known "Fan" Wang Wei, Pei Minzhi also has a famous apprentice, and this person is "Poet" Li Bai. In a certain game, Li Bai was set as an assassin with a sword. In fact, Li Bai himself is indeed a master with a sword. Li Bai even said that his swordsmanship was "the second best in the world", and the only thing he thought about was Master Pei Min.

But it is such a widely recognized "blade master", which seems to be less known than other Seven Sages. Many people who know the title of "Sword Master" from comics, games and novels will not associate it with Pei Min. Why is the "blade master" of Tang little known? There are two reasons for this:

First, there are too few records about him in history books. The protagonist of ancient history compilation is either a very important official or an important event. Although Pei Min enjoys the reputation of "great swordsman", his highest official position is only a general of Sargingo. Although it is the top three, it does not have a high position among military commanders, and there is nothing worth writing about in the war, so it is not a star.

Secondly, his works have not been passed down to future generations. Lu Yu, a "Cha Sheng", has the Book of Tea, Wang Xizhi, a "book saint" and Du Fu, whose poems are well-known, while Pei Min, a "blade master", has no sword score handed down from generation to generation except a name in the history books.

Words and deeds not only have limited dissemination effect, but also have greater risk of being lost. However, most of the things carried by words have been passed down to this day. After the era of cold weapons passed, modern people rarely dance with knives and sticks, and the "blade master" is getting farther and farther away from us.
