Places of historical significance in Guangxi

Guilin. Guilin Seven Star Park (including Seven Star Rocks), Elephant Trunk Hill, and along the Li River are the Anti-Japanese War sites of the Guilin Defense War and include the cemetery of martyrs. The Battle of Guilin was called the most difficult and brutal battle by the Japanese. The people of Guangxi used the Guangxi army, militia and inferior equipment to fight against the elite Japanese invaders. The defeat was remembered for decades and is the pride of Guangxi.
