Dzi in front of Jinshi Temple
There is a famous literati in Chaozhou, Lin Daqin, and there are allusions about him in many folk stories in Chaozhou:
When I was teaching in longhu town, Lin Daqin, I happened to meet an old man from longhu town. In order to take an examination of Lin Daqin, he wrote a pair of Saxifraga after the courtyard of Silver Lake. If he can't do well, he can't teach here. If Lin Daqin couldn't do it well at that time, he would go back to his hometown of Jin Shizhen. When he took a nap under the tree and thought about the old couple, he saw the dragon's eyes scattered all over the floor, as if by sudden magic. He had a better sentence: "stone", "flower" and "grass behind the shade". Therefore, Lin Daqin successfully taught in longhu town and made many contributions to Longhu and Jinshi.
