Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, referred to as "Lu Mei", is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. It is the only multi-disciplinary and multi-level art school in Northeast China, one of the eight national fine arts colleges, and a key construction university of first-class universities in Liaoning Province.
The school's predecessor was Lu Xun Art Institute, which was founded in Yan 'an 1938 and founded by Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai. 1945, Lu Yi moved to Yanan in the northeast. 1958 developed into Luxun Academy of Fine Arts.
As of July 20 16, the school has two campuses, Shenyang and Dalian, with a total campus area of 957,662.94 square meters and a library building area of 10887 square meters. There are 17 teaching units and 16 undergraduate majors. There are 856 teachers and 7967 students, including 7 135 undergraduates, 507 postgraduates and 20 international students.
